camille65 -> Ouch.. dat hurts! (3/8/2009 11:41:56 AM)

Well here is my embarrassing question of the week!
I hurt. Seems we did a wee bit too much playing Saturday and I feel.. kind of raw. Okay, very raw. Not chafed exactly but almost abraded.. probably flogger related. Looking with a mirror (lets make friends with our vay-jay-jay) I am kind of swollen looking and wearing jeans is totally out for the moment.

Aloe causes major league irritation for me, so is there anything anyone knows about that will soooooooooothe the pain?

*On the very awesome related end of this, wow I can tell that physical therapy has helped me! I got folded and splayed open but my hips seem to be okay for the first time in pretty much forever.*

Good grief. 20 people have read my question and no one has any suggestions of help?

I know darn well someone here has had their girly bits played with too hard and too long!
Someone?
Anyone?
Bueller??

Ice pack, thats all I've come up with. I hate cold!

I was gonna suggest witch hazel, camille.. but I'm not sure it'd be good for the girly area

Gwynvyd -> RE: Ouch.. dat hurts! (3/8/2009 12:51:38 PM)

Personally I would use witch hazel. Soak some onto a nice soft wash cloth... and gently dab.

When I had postpartum ouchies with the um ( nothing like that pain let me tell ya!) I was told to use witch hazel.

I always keep some in the house for cuts and bug bites anyway.

It will clean and condition the skin.

Good luck hun!

GMTA Greedy!

Yeppers.... they tell you to use it on after labor stuff.

Esp if an episiotomy is done. It also works on hemroids.... it is the main ingrediant in Tucks pads.

Thank you ladies! I will go out today (wish I could go out naked heh) and get some witch hazel. Surely it can't sting much more than I already sting!

Oh it was a glorious weekend uhhuh. [:)]

Gwyn every time I see you post I get all worried and wish I could hug you! I cannot imagine how uncomfortable you must feel, I'm sorry there isn't anything I can do aside from tell little Gabe to get on out of you! You must have made an awfully nice place for him to grow.

Kalista07 -> RE: Ouch.. dat hurts! (3/8/2009 1:06:58 PM)

Camille,
my only recommendation would to take lots of baths with some Epsom salt.... It should decrease the intensity of the pain at least...

Good luck and i'm glad You had such a wonderful time.

Thank you hun.....

Yeah I am miserable.... ( huffing through a contraction as I type now)

But it will soon be over.

Witch hazel will help, so would a sitz bath ( they have them in drug stores ) http://www.howtodothings.com/health-and-fitness/a4540-how-to-take-a-sitz-bath.html

Long swishy skirts, witch hazel, and "Hoo-haa rest" have always been my standbys when I get bruised, or scraped down there. Also, those vagisil (sp?) wipes are awesome if you are going somewhere and don't want to tote around a bottle of witch hazel.

Eta... Gwyn you've been having contractions for forever.... O.O I'd be worn out by now

kiwisub12 -> RE: Ouch.. dat hurts! (3/8/2009 3:03:17 PM)

Try a bit neosporin ointment. Works wonders with chaffing

Christinestill -> RE: Ouch.. dat hurts! (3/8/2009 3:08:41 PM)

not too long ago i had the same thing, and ice was all i could think of, and cold water rinses a few times a day.

Aileen1968 -> RE: Ouch.. dat hurts! (3/8/2009 3:30:33 PM)

Get your hands on those ice packs they give you after you give birth...pure heaven.
And then sitz baths.

domiguy -> RE: Ouch.. dat hurts! (3/8/2009 3:52:41 PM)

Maybe it's time for five to ten tasteful labial piercings?...What the fuck it can't get much worse. Go for the nips as well, another distraction to take your mind off of your ravaged go-go hole.

subharlequin -> RE: Ouch.. dat hurts! (3/8/2009 4:02:45 PM)

not sure i can help you with making it better..a nice cool fan breeze as i laid sprawled on the bed was nice..lol...

but i can tell you what to avoid..forklifts and bumpy roads......talk about abusive..but fun when you arent hurting lol

Heh. 'Ravaged' is a good word!

Thanks everybody. Jeez I'm glad there is a place where I can ask my weird questions.

Not sure if you have access to it in the States, but Paw Paw ointment is a wonderful thing to have in the medicine cupboard.  It is thick and goopy like Vaseline but the paw paw has antibacterial properties.  Great for babies' bottoms but even better for tender va-jay-jays.

I was red-raw a couple of months ago after a day's play followed by teaching a 60 minute cycle class that night with a badly placed seam...ouchie.  I was in a panic because i was having my first weekend away with my partner and thought i'd be too sore to enjoy it.  After 36 hours of liberal Paw Paw ointment i was good as new.

Cold Compresses will help the effected area. Do not use heat as it is the increased blood flow to the area causing increase sensitivity. Anti-inflammatory such as advil will also help. For a few other suggestions please see the link.

subangi -> RE: Ouch.. dat hurts! (3/18/2009 9:53:45 AM)

Bag balm...its used on sheep and cow utters for irritation and has antiseptic.  one tin can lasts a long time... not very pleasant smelling,  but it works wonders!!!
