Sometimes I don't know what I believe about what happens after one dies. I think reincarnation has its merits. Of course, the main thing is that what you come back as has to do with how you lived this life. BUT, if there was a choice, I'd come back as a dog so I could find out what there is to talk about the whole ding dang night.

Huh?

It is 2 am and my two dogs are in the dog pen having a high ole time barking. It's a good thing I live in the sticks, or someone would be complaining about it to the police.

Well I believe in past lives, yet for all of it I have been repetadly told that this is my first human time round, yet I'm told by many others that I'm an old soul.

So do I believe it, or so I think their full of it? I believe they are correct, I myself feel that I am an old soul, and when i look at my old pics when I was a child my eyes just look so freaking old ta me.

Then again I also beleive in the summerlands where you rest before being given the choice on if you wish to return to earth and what form that will be as.

proudsub,

This board is not for discussing my fantasies.

Seriously, I don't think an afterlife matters. If someone is a jerk wether they go to Heavan, Hell, Summerland, or whatever is irrelevant. They are a jerk. The same holds true for a mensch. (sp?)

Some of us are dying to be reincarnated.
Actually i have a friend who wants to come back as a dog, so they can take the
children away at 6 weeks and still call you a good girl.

Oh, that was so funny! That "good girl" term is so sweet to hear in session, but does make one think of how one talks to a pet. Coincidence? I think not.

My step-mother's secretary always used to say she wanted to be reincarnated as MY dog, because she couldn't imagine a better life.

Yeah, I spoil my pets silly (even more so after Lawrence torments him about not having opposable thumbs). I don't see the point in having them otherwise.

Knew a woman once that claimed to be able to tell who or what you were in a prior life.. she claimed I was an Egyptian Princess. Guess that explains why I hate the heat

Midear Dixie-

I've had more than one woman become disturbed to realise that I use much the same sort of patter, tone of voice and terms when dealing with a pet, or in some cases a boat, as I do when talking them through something.

Oops.

Stay warm,
Lawrence

Having been to well over 200 funerals in my life you learn to develop answers for things that happen to you. I have a few theories. Who knows if any are true or not. Regardless it gets me through the day.

One of them is re-incarnation. If for none where does deja-vu come from?

When you add up the people who think they are a reincarnated person of royalty you get a very large number.

When you add up the number of people of royalty you get a much smaller number.

When you add up the number of people anally ravaged by invading armies and forced into servitude breaking rocks or whatever until they died a horrible death of some weird disease you get a very large number.

When you add up the number of people who claim to be reincarnated from one of those people, the number is very small.

I dont know what it means, but as usual it is just my opinion and I could be wrong.

Sinergy

I'm not altogether sure you want my thoughts on this but you asked so I'll answer. When we die........................NOTHING we are dead. Its kinda morbid to think of it that way, I'm not Goth, i dont crave death its just your alive while your here enjoy it because its the only life we have. Hence my tagline after my posts. I dont want to think that there is life after death, if there was whats the point of suffering through this life why not just say fuck it I'll kill myself maybe the next one will be better. Nope i believe when you die thats it the only other purpose you serve after death is to fertilize the grass over you. Its not sweet, magical, or supportive but thats my opinion. If I'm wrong then I'll burn in hell. But like I said I dont think that will happen.

I used to believe in reincarnation. I had a recurring dream of walking into an old Victorian house and seeing the rooms in great detail, like the room with blue toile wallpaper. I walked through an old barn with many scary tools hanging down from the rafters. There were no people in this dream, just this incredible feeling of being there at some time. I used to scoff at people who joked that people who said they were reincarnated were always someone famous. I had a discussion with my mother a couple of years ago and finally told her about this somewhat disturbing dream and she told me that I used to be babysat by an older woman who lived in an old Victorian house!! It totally blew my long lived idea of reincarnation out the window.
