Depends on where and how you use it. Does create snaps and high static electricity pops, these can be directed to genitals with a variety of effects, in a darkened room the light is very interesting.

Oh my goodness I looove the violet wand! Probably the most erotic thing...in my opinion...is channeling the current. You can put a connector somewhere on your body (it DOESN'T shock YOU), and it passes the electric current through you to your submissive. You can glide your hands across their skin, rippling your fingers, and it's like magic! And on lower settings, it doesn't sting. It tickles or sorta pops. Serious advice...use it on yourself, and see just how many different sensations you can feel when you use it inventively. Ours can create any mindscape and skinsation that Andy wants for me, with a touch of cunning and a little practice!

I got burned from too high of a current used with chains and a wheel. Had quite the pattern of burns on my body. It looks very cool, but I cant say it felt erotic even with a lower current.

I have a violet wand and love it. It is more a static electric shock and depending on where is used and at setting the sensation can be erotic or painful.
