I hate short hair on women. personal preference I guess. Only woman I still find sexy with a shaved head is Natalie Portman.

I've heard of the practice and while I understand the intimacy it can connote and create, my nearly waist-length hair isn't something I am willing to sacrifice in that fashion. Davan

In all honesty, I have ALWAYS wanted to shave my head. It was my dedication to him that had it grow as long as it has. Even now, I'm no longer claimed by him it's still growning as a sort of show of my submission.

My former Keeper, back in the days when I was earning my crop from the "bottom" up, had my head shaved and kept it that way for almost 2 years. It wasn't the first time for me, since a shaved head was part of the requirements for me at the monastery at which I trained for ministry. I do like the look -- but won't be going that direction until I leave my present job -- it seems to freak out the "norms" at the corporation where I'm currently gainfully (and mostly happily) employed. Consensus, though, is that I have a nicely shaped head, no matter which side of the crop I am on, and honestly, I really have a couple of pieces of ink I want to have done on my head (including a full chakra set I want my daughter to do for me).

To liberate a person of the vanities they have accrued shaving the head is one of the most powerfully symbolic gestures of surrender and commitment to submission. We often hide behind our hair, use it as a blanket of inner strength but at most, it is a luxury and for a slave whether the hair is long or short, it is so at the behest of their Master/Mistress. I am also rather partial to the Manchu 'Queue'. Simply beautiful.

Posting here really does have it's advantages, or so it seems. After posting here earlier Andy has now relented, to the extent that come summer he will take his life in his hands and shave my head. After all, says he, it wouldn't take long to grow back to it's usual length. It is something where even the thought tightens my stomach, has added a frisson of excitement to my evening, given me that funny floaty feeling. It strikes me as a very intimate act, far more so than the connection i feel to him when he cuts my hair. So now i have a while to ponder on what the first touch of blade on scalp will feel like, wondering if it will do what i think it will, and drop me right into that zone of mine. Time will tell. i have to join the hard limit category on this one. And yeah, if you're going to do it - or even go short from long - take off 12" or more and donate to Locks of Love where they make wigs with it.

Thanks for all the various comments and views. On a practical note we have found that shaving the head of a dark haired person results in a constant dark shadow on the scalp, and thus we wonder whether the shaven headed women one sees on the net who have such an attractive pale coloured scalp either have a very blond natural hair colour, or do they perhaps use make-up on their scalp ? Oh yes - and the basic shape of the skull is very relevant to the finished shaven look. Personally we think that a nicely rounded shape gives the best shaven result.

A quick reply, I find it very sexy. It follows along that vein of serial numbers and barcodes tattoo'd on the back of the neck (oddly enough, I'm not a fan of those last two). I find a shaved head very humble. I find the feel of my palm on military short soft girly hair very sensual (That said, a fistful of hair is also nice). Society doesn't much approve of a shaved head. Society assumes short haired women are lesbians =P. If I had a 24-7 live in slave, it'd be very sexy if her head was shaved. Since I send my girl into the world, and want her to succeed, her hair is important. In short, I love it. Every time I see BoiJen posting, I look at that picture and bite my bottom lip. blush Edit: Typos. "Everytime" is 2 words.

As i said earlier, there is tacit agreement between Andy and myself that when the weather warms up a little he will shave my head. Up to now he cuts my hair for me, i love it when he hacks into it with scissors first, taking fistfuls and sawing through the hair until i sit there itching and squirming with scraps all over me, down my back, everywhere. And then he takes the clippers and takes what's left of the hair down to about a half inch all over. Sure, it looks better than the scissoring on it's own, but when he makes me sit with all the clippings driving me nuts, it reminds me he can make me look any way he wants me to.

It's a relatively small group that has this as an interest. Beyond that, for many people it would negatively impact their careers. And since women frequently have body image problems to begin with, exacerbating it by doing this is not the brightest idea unless you know for sure she can handle it. Over and beyond all of it, is that just as almost nobody wants to be called ugly, almost nobody wants to be made to feel ugly and undesirable. And not for the length of the scene to be followed by aftercare, but for weeks and months until it grows out. Better be sure she actually will look good, most people don't.

i am glad you have found this satisfying..although i would not generalize and say that shaving your head is "an extremely powerful statement of the slaves devotion and state of ownership"..this is more an individual choice and something you define in your relationship as important. i would not want other easily influenced folks to follow based on that. good luck ree

FR Shaving a slaves head had always been a bit of a fantasy for Master.When my long hair started to fall out following my radiotherapy I got very upset seeing my hair on the pillow when I woke up, so I asked him to cut it all off for me. He took me out into the garden and chopped most of it off with scissors before shaving it all off. I have benefitted so much from being bald as he loved massaging my head. It has also been great not having to worry about styling my hair. I am not able to wear a wig because of the position of the scar where my skull was opened up so I wear a cap most of the time. Amazingly, given the number of people these days that suffer from hair loss due to cancer treatments, people still stare and can be quite rude. Good news? Well my hair is mostly growing back but there is a large piece, over the part they cut out of the skull, that is still bald. So he is about to get the chance to shave it all off again so that it grows back evenly. So more head massages on the horizon. Yeah

Definitely a hard limit for me, I think if my Master said he wanted to shave my head I would be halfway out of the door or something... gosh am I glad he likes long hair.

i was just thinking on posting on this and wondering if there already was a thread. It had nothing to do with being a slave, although there was permission, my head was shaved for St. Baldrick's Day, my students raising a couple of thousand to go with it. It is sexy and the looks are fun. No modifications to dress or covering with a wig. A statement is being made. Naturally i'm blond and with that and Nair, no stubble. Plus our wife works on it, and me on her, regularly. Eyelashes are all that is left, and it will be at least a year i have been told.
