Something I have been looking for for a while is a set of really high quality suspension cuffs. For multiple reasons, any scene with me might suddenly become a suspension scene if I am bound by the wrists, and I need something that won't dislocate my wrists if I suddenly go limp. I once found a perfect set, but lost track of where I saw them. It was almost a glove, it closed over the palm, like a wrist brace, and had a d ring in the palm. Does anyone know where I can find something good for this, or who can make me something? littlevalkyrie

Thank you Rainyday, but I think that they look a bit too loose. I need something that doesn't involve the ability to grab onto anything...

Hmmm all of them look nice, but what I am looking for is something I don't have to hold on to. I have a tendency to fly, plus I have narcolepsy - one of the unfortunate side effects is that extreme emotion - even positive extreme emotion can cause me to go limp... the item i had in mind was much more form fitting...I wish I could find it...

littlevalkyrie, i would urge you to look at the kind of 3 point buckle type cuffs that Rainyday linked in her post. Having disabilities that made me concerned about the possible damage to my wrists these were the type of cuffs i wore when a lot of strain was put on the joints, and i can say that of all the cuffs i have had my hands on, these are the only ones i would trust to keep me safe. It matters not where you get them from, but please don't dismiss the only ones that i found offered all round support and proved best.

Allright, I will check them out again :) Thank you for the information - hearing from people who have used them helps a lot in making choices.
