I hate it and I'd refuse to accept any dom who was in love with it or required it. It's just awkward and such a huge turn off plus I think it is stupid personally.

Moderators might. If they ever made arule about no third person speak allowed, then you either have to follow that rule, or not come here if your owner makes it a rule you use third person speak.

I had one girl that spoke in third person and it sounded wonderful and natural(it just seemed to formulate between us over time)...on the other hand i spoke with a slave friend that talked in third person and it just confused the hell out of me...was fine when she was talking about just herself but if she mentioned say for example  her sister i was lost(she is going to visit her mother)yeah cool but do you mean you as she or sis as she....she once was explaining something and started of with "yes she is she" I mean ...come on to f*** how can one follow that.

So yes it all depends on how natural it is ...if its natural is nice if not its contrived

If this ever happens, where the moderators can decide on how I am to write out a post or how my own can write, I would find another place to play. I understand the TOS and why it is in place, but for a site owner to tell me HOW I can post something, in what form of typing I can do, that is just way to much for me. I really can't foresee this happening. But I am in agreement with LP, there isn't a soul on this earth who can override my authority on what I have instructed my cub to do, in the context of our own dynamic.

Actually in Gorean circles it is still optional, depending upon the owner. Now of course I am speaking of offline Goreans, as the online Goreans are usually playing a role.

In general, it's a turn off for me, but third person troubles me less than the ALL-CAPS and lower case to differentiate dominant and submissive. Third person actually makes sense to me as a form of self-negation, but as both doms and subs use DOM/sub type of language, its function is less clear ( if you're a sub doing it for your dom it's understandable, but if you're dominant or unattached, what's the point? ) Everyone's welcome to their own means of expression of course, but it can come across as a BDSM form of l33t - and a definite turn-off when getting to know dominants.

A phenomena I've come across but simply cannot understand are dominants who speak in third person e.g. "Master is pleased," etc. I'd curious to hear the motivation of dominants who speak this way.

I may not agree with the Moderators all of the time, but I don't think they are out to specifically hack personal expression.

I can address this part for you.

Have you ever been in the situation where, you as the s type were expected to follow either protocol or ritual, but the person on the other side of the kneel did not?  Just imagine for a second just exactly how well that would go over.  You are putting in the effort , and getting nothing in return.  You're doing what you were told was important in the eyes of the other person in the dynamic, but it's not important enough for that person to be an active participant.

Wouldn't establishing something for My sub, that is supposedly a part of this dynamic, and not adhering to it Myself, make Me something of a hypocrite?

I would absolutely agree.  It proves My point as well.  Not for the Moderators, but the forum readers.

The content of what anyone writes is so much more important than the personal style in which it is written.
