While I don't know if I would define it as a kink, I do like grunt work and have done tons of stuff without fair compensation just for the feeling I get doing it, and I like working for someone. With my ex-husband, I did a lot of stuff for him that benefitted his carreer such as indexing his first book and transcribing interviews for his dissertation, in addition to just plain working so he could focus on his studies. I received a kind of compensation that doesn't show up on the ledgers and it enhanced my skills. I've also taken jobs doing personal care and housecleaning that weren't fairly compensated but made me feel really good at the end of the day. So long as I'm respected and treated well, if I have the time, I consider that sort of thing valuable in terms of keeping me emotionally healthy. I look at it as a form of re-creation. Its been a long time since I've had regular employment, so I tend to find 'work-like' things to fill my time. Sometimes I wonder, if I had a job, what I'd do for fun. :) I do doubt if I could work 40hrs a week like the op's suggesting in a no strings attached situation even if room and board was provided. It sounds too much like real slavery. I would need more of a relationship. But, no, I don't think the general idea is out of line.

Tammy, sounds like a case of someone who didn't have much imagination. I suspect he was probably looking for approval and a sense of purpose, but wasn't able to envision much more than simple service (perhaps owing to low self esteem). When he saw other examples of relationships where much more was possible he regreted his choice, became envious and bitter. I've run into a few like that. They can be a bit prickly to deal with and I learned long ago to take my time with anyone and explain all the possiblities to ensure they are making as informed a decision as possible. That's something the OP should keep in mind... things my start out simple enough, but they rarely remain so. Guess I better get to work on the list of things of possibilities I need to inform Caitlyn about. [:D] (I admit, her comment really made my day)

Easy to do! Hire a pro-domme who is a control freak accountant, I mean most bean counters are sadists so this can't be a hard combination to find. Then set up a pro-domme porn website and charge people to watch the video feeds. Then have this all set up on a plexiglass stage suspended over the factory floor so all the slave/workers can see it. Then slowly rotate them through on their lunches and breaks for use and abuse. Should work out just fine.

Fast reply to the OP In every situation / relationship / dynamic, there must be give and take. The question for you is what are you prepared to give (besides ungodly amounts of work) while you are in the process of taking?

Very few folks out there who expect absolutely nothing in retuirn for directed service. You'll find even the most giving types want some sort of exchange. I have in addition to my slave (who I provide most of the support for financially) I have a boi who serves me but in return I provide life guidance/ mentoring/ lifestyle learning opportunities/ Family type support/ etc... Slaves are damned expensive to keep full time and service oriented submissives who give part time service tend to have the expectation that it will be an exchange of power for responsibility. I have o problem with folks wanting practicle service from submissives or slaves but owning/ dominating them means taking on the responsibility of providing something in the exchange.
