A lot of people will have multiple accounts some people like to top and bottom  so will have up to 3  accounts  one for top, bottom and switch.

Poly individuals sometimes also have multiple accounts

don't assume he lied about orientation .... he may have simply been waiting to see if the meet went successfully before explaining

hell not every one is good at saying verbally I am not interested as they hate to hurt someones feelings....some choose avoidance instead...and it still gets the message across

Not getting yourself involved in your local area would be detrimental to your search and socializing.  On the internet a person is one dimensional...and you never know who they truly are until you interact in person.  One word can have several meanings, along with verbal fluctuation, and body language.
Running into him at a function could alleviate your frustration , and heighten your esteem.  Being "cool" is the key.  Approaching him with eye contact saying "hi, was wondering what happened to you" along with a chuckle, then mingling elsewhere will make you feel better because you acknowledged your frustration,  yet coyly let him know that you are strong enough "inside" to brush it off.  It may encourage him to confront you, and if it doesn't, then you will know he wasnt meant for you.

Men don't call, it's just a fact.  Many times since it is an internet thing they just feel they can completely blow you off when they feel like it.  Alot of guys will also do the whole switch thing because all they care about is the fantasy of the situations or the sex.  Men lie, it will never change.

I should think he would be afraid to run into YOU, for fear that you might expose him for the liar he is.

Thanks maatsubJ.  Since I've been around friends dealing with drama in the "local" scene (and I was a stranger in the mix) before I don't really want to actually deal with it actually being someone they know.  Though as I have been becoming better friends with people in the local scene I feel a lot better.

I am more excited about it now then before and i've let it go. His loss, right?

Maya2001 - I would say he is lying because I did ask him about being a switch, because I was interested in the idea.  He flat out denied it, so i let it go.

Subangi - thanks for the great advice
