Status: offline 		Sleazeballs one and all.  650 sedative pills in 35 days?  No wonder she died...probably took more pills while in a drugged stupor.

Status: offline 		Is the DA pursuing this for the sake of justice, or is does he have something to gain from such a high profile case? Is this a good thing, and will it put the fear of the law in the minds of other quacks?

Status: offline 		Are his motives important Kittin,as long as justice is seen to be done...maybe the next Doctor to the rich and famous thinks twice about indiscriminate writing of scripts for dangerous drugs in dangerous quantities.

Status: offline 		'clears throat.  It took them this long to find charges?

My local area has drugs from time to time and ODs.  In the past few years- the law fries the person who furnished the drugs.   I was shocked when my Chiropractor ODd.   This was only a few years after my dentist became a big time junky and left the area.   Every few month the drug task force arrests 20-35 people in a sweep. (200,000 people in 4 counties) 
Funny timing. I just this afternoon added stenciling to my house number to make it clear which address it is.   The next door neighbor is now a slumlord.  I hate that!   He rented to fricken trash.  I heard thru the grapevine drugs are going on there.  Looking at how wrecked the property is, something is going on!    So- when they kick in the door, I want it to be the correct door!
