Our planet is a thing of beauty :-) .

Vendaval -> RE: Continents (3/16/2009 7:45:12 PM)

And violence, witness the volcanoes and tidal waves.

kittinSol -> RE: Continents (3/16/2009 7:53:44 PM)

Do you agree that nature's violence is terrible but beautiful at the same time, Ven?

Vendaval -> RE: Continents (3/16/2009 7:54:45 PM)

Yes, and I would not have it any other way.[:)]

rexrgisformidoni -> RE: Continents (3/16/2009 8:08:34 PM)

I am going to start counting crustal plates as continents.

YoursMistress -> RE: Continents (3/16/2009 8:42:46 PM)

I am far more concerned about how many incontinents there are.

How many continents are there?

More than five billion as well as sub-continent India.
I expect that there are also less than three hundred million in-continents.

Edited to add: Ooops. I had not read the second page. YoursMistress was way ahead of me.

What is an in-continent? I never heard of this. I looked for something on it through yahoo but found nothing - at least not on landmasses.
