Well the wretched King Minos has decided your fate. His tale wraps around his body 7 times. The sweet light no longer strikes against your eyes. Your shade has been banished to... the Seventh Level of Hell!

Seventh Level of Hell
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Guarded by the Minotaur, who snarls in fury, and encircled within the river Phlegethon, filled with boiling blood, is the Seventh Level of Hell. The violent, the assasins, the tyrants, and the war-mongers lament their pitiless mischiefs in the river, while centaurs armed with bows and arrows shoot those who try to escape their punishment. The stench here is overpowering. This level is also home to the wood of the suicides- stunted and gnarled trees with twisting branches and poisoned fruit. At the time of final judgement, their bodies will hang from their branches. In those branches the Harpies, foul birdlike creatures with human faces, make their nests. Beyond the wood is scorching sand where those who committed violence against God and nature are showered with flakes of fire that rain down against their naked bodies. Blasphemers and sodomites writhe in pain, their tongues more loosed to lamentation, and out of their eyes gushes forth their woe. Usurers, who followed neither nature nor art, also share company in the Seventh Level.

Here, sinners are blown around endlessly by the unforgiving winds of unquenchable desire as punishment for their transgressions. The infernal hurricane that never rests hurtles the spirits onward in its rapine, whirling them round, and smiting, it molests them. You have betrayed reason at the behest of your appetite for pleasure, and so here you are doomed to remain. Cleopatra and Helen of Troy are two that share in your fate.

depends on how you looks at things, for myself i think the 7th level is a joke for myself since it doesn't paint me as I know myself to be, then again the fact that I'm pagan I think automaticlly puts me down a few rungs

I could have gone to the realm of the Lustful ones, except for knocking off that gangster right at the end there in the true or false section. *sigh* That pretty much sealed it for level seven.

I was very unsurprised to find myself with the Heretics. Hmmm. I expect I'll have good company here. I'll be able to have good conversation with Mark Twain and Thomas Paine. Unfortunately I won't get to see Ben Franklin - he was banished to Level two.

I had the most trouble with this question: "Do you repent for your sins?" To me, that's kind of like asking, "When did you stop beating your wife?"

Compes

By the way - if anyone can get their hands on a copy of Niven and Pournelle's "Inferno" I highly recommend it. It was a LOT more fun to read than Dante's Inferno - and when I re-read Dante, I was more able to relate.

I admit, I'm technically challenged. But, what in the world does your post mean???....lol. I have seen a couple stories in the creative section written like this. Just didn't wanna ask.

This is merely HTML coding which was not processed correctly by the text editor of this message board. I'm guessing that it only processes a limited amount of coding as defined by the parameters set within the forum program.
