I thought I was high or losing it but it seems I was not. I distinctly remember. Now in this window it's suppressed, but in my normal IE window there is a bar and at the bottom right side it has a little globe icon and it says Internet to the right to it. Sometimes this bar is hidden because I have my taskbar on auto hide and always on top, which setting I recomend to everyone. So sometimes I don't see the bar generated by IE. Well today I am sitting here, I was just thinking about my next rabblerousing or whatever and I saw the little globe icon and the word Internet move slowly to the left, towards, but stopping short of the center of the screen. I am not, shit even if I was high I am not seeing things, I am sure and I just looked back at the other window and it's for sure. After the word Internet there is a bunch of gray, where the word used to be. It DID move. I saw it move and although I had troublke believing my own eyes, it moved somewhat like a status bar would when you download something. If there is no danger to my PC I could not care less about safety, like if this indicates an automatic update or something. I don't really care where that word and icon is, but then I am the curious type. So I ask, does anyone know WTF it means when that happens ? If it is a bad virus I'll make some HD space and reload it. Whatever it was though it freaked me out. "Wasn't this over there before ?" Yes it was, of that I am sure. This is in : Version 6.0.2600.0000 Yup I am update unfriendly to say the least. They dragged me into XP because I could no longer get online with 98SE. There is still a thing or two I could do in 98 that I can't do in XP, so how is that an improvement ? As I stuck the XP Corporate edition disk in and watched it do it's thing, I got the feeling of being dragged down the street in chains by like six Dommes, sorta like the Emmet Hill story I guess. Not like jumping off a cliff, like HAVING JUMPED off a cliff ! Enough rant, it moved about 1ΒΌ" to the left on an 800X600 17" screen. Does anyone know what that might mean ? T
