- College level English: learning to read and write clearly and concisely teaches a slave to think and talk clearly and concisely. Communicating what you want and what you have to offer in a personal ad, writing up a contract between yourself and a Keeper, or merely making a “to-do” list all require writing skills. Also learning to get your thoughts and ideas on paper can help you sort out what is going on in your mind and in your life. This class can teach you skills for learning to ask good questions and to answer questions clearly. It can help you understand and adapt to others ways of speaking. It will also help you talk about sex and slavery. It might even help with small talk, both in the vanilla world and the not so vanilla world. Learning to speak to your Keeper the way that your Keeper wants you to speak is easier if you already understand something about language.
- Basic sociology: This class teaches other ways of looking at the world that will help you adjust and adapt to your Keeper's way of seeing the world. Also, it will help you understand group dynamics (orgy issues, munches, play parties, ‘Holidays with the Vanilla Family’ etc) and interpersonal dynamics (household slaves politics, munches, and ways of seeing your own actions and reactions. - Survey of film/dance: This class offers another look how people interact. It also will help you understand visual stimuli. It can also tech you about people and situations that you want to avoid, like drama queens and people addicted to getting attention, no matter what the cost. In a sense, this class can be a cautionary tale about what not to be and how not to act. It can also give you a deeper appreciation of pornographic movies and art forms.
- Basic philosophy: Philosophy is another theory of logic class that will help you see patterns, understand other people's belief structures, and help you internalize "because I said so" as a meaningful, logical, reason to do things. It teaches systems of understanding personal and interpersonal interactions. It might help you decide what sort of context you want, desire and need in your life. - Early childhood development: This teaches you something about how humans learn things. It is also fun to get to be "childish" and gives you practice in letting down some social barriers. If you are considering having children in future, it is also a good one to take for the practical knowledge of how to teach and interact with children.
- A hand’s on art class like pottery or drawing: A class like this improves hand-eye co-ordination in ways that video games never can. It lets you see how much work goes into "art" and teaches you to sit still at one long task for a long time with little visible reward teaching patience and perseverance. You may get to see nude or partially nude models and learn from them how they move, sit, and mediate. If you opt for the pottery class, you will learn how to shape, move, and manipulate clay. - Intro to computers: Computers have become so much a part of everyday life that learning to use one is now as necessary as learning to drive a car or read.
