Hi,

I have recently been told to wear a butt plug at night and so i have bought a beginners one, which seems big to me, and i'm having problems getting it all the way in. In fact i have bits of blood on it as i bring it out. Can anybody tell me the best way to insert it please as I am struggling.

Thanks,

Its never a good idea to start out with BIG BOB for your first foret--and to wear it all night-with all the thrashing a person does in sleep---maybe a tad of common sense is needed here--start small, slow and a few minutes at a time--well lubed and comfortable, it should be wickedly pleasureable not insanely painful.

Use plenty of lube and increase the time slowly. Don't rush the length of time or 'force' anything.

Get a smaller one for a starting point and go with the lube and masturbation technique.  An enema before will also clear the way.

definitely a shorter and smaller one.  Wear it for a short period of time in the beginning.  if you were told to wear it all night ask if you can voice your  opinion and make it a slow build up .  any blood in that area is not good.  takes awhile to heal and also can be painful.  It might be fun to go shopping together!

Thanks guys,

I was under the impression they don't come smaller than this. Can you get them only 1 inch wide? Mine is a "beginners" but 2 inch wide at it's base.

I have this
http://www.lolasloveshack.com/gbu0-prodshow/CE1302.html
from a local shop.
It's a lot easier on the sphincter, so i'm getting used to being "filled" first and more gradually stretching the actual opening. First day with it, I was able to drive and walk around, publicly, for several hours. It's also decent for attaching a tail for beginners.

Here is another idea for you. They have Butt Plugs that inflate and get larger. This way you start sorta small and pump it up till it feel ok. Keep it filled with air and it will stay in place. It also comes w/controls to make it viberate, sorry about my spelling, there is NO spell check on here.

But, be sure to use LOTS of LUBE, And to get you to open up down there massage the anus till you feel it opening up...take your time. This is NOT a race game. THINK SAFETY - FIRST.

Do fore play on yourself....and take your time.

All the different answers you got are their exp. at first. Use these ideas...and work it your way w/NO hurt.

Have Fun!!!

Good Lubing Action slowly, means less hurt. If it hurts, you are doing something wrong.

Keep in mind that the ass is more delicate internally than the vagina, it wasn't built to be penetrated so shoving huge things up there that make you bleed is a bad BAD plan. Start with a small plug, they are typically 3/4" in diameter. As has been stated previously there are kits to work up from there. Somewhere between one inch and 1.25 inches is a good second size. 1.5 inches is huge, don't try and use that as your second plug. An inflatable plug is also a reasonable option but it needs to have the size range your looking for. A lot of the inflatables don't have a solid core so they won't have the firmness to penetrate until they are somewhat inflated. If you have to inflate a plug to where it's too big for you before you can insert it then things won't work out. Also if it has a firm core make sure that core is small enough for you.

I stated out with a SMALL Butt Plug, almost the size of my Thumb. It kept coming out, so I went to a Medium one, about 1 1/2 inches. I would NEVER be abkle to use a larger one. I use plenty of Lube, and have no problem, except for sitting. It is a little long. Also it is better too, if is is the slft Jell type.

Wish I had mine in, sub balletbob

ps Cute outfit in your picture. I hope your wearing Mary Janes too.  HA HA HA

Thanks, I'm unsure what to do now as I have persevered wth mine spending two hours at a time with my plug pushing against my hole and slowly edging further. It is two inches in diameter and if it wasn't for time constraints i felt i would have it in.So it surprises me to hear somebody would be unable to do more than 11/2 inches. Am i trying too much to soon? I am annoyed mine is called a starters as it appears it's more an advanced kit!

Thanks again for the advice,

sissy chrissy

One tip for easy insertion is not to force the plug, gently ease it in at a pace where you feel very little to no discomfort and there shouldn't be bleeding. A liberal amount of lube is best and add extra! A good idea is to start wearing the butt plug for short periods of time and work your way to wearing it for longer periods. Bleeding means some delicate skin has been injured that needs to heal without risk of infection.

Ok so now it's up my arse and i can close my sphincter around it however if i move much it slides out. I take it this means it is still not in properly, can somebody clarify?

Thanks,

Some plugs are not designed that well.
Some shapes stay in better than others.
If you go to a place like:

http://www.blowfish.com/catalog/toys/

and look at the descriptions they mention which ones tend to stay in better than others.

Is this a smaller plug or did you get the 2" in? If it's a small plug it just won't stay, it went in easy and will come out easy. Here's a thread that talks about keeping it in place: http://www.collarchat.com/m_2507820/tm.htm

You should take some care and thought into leaving any sort of anal toy in overnight or for long periods of time.

The biological job of the last part of your colon/rectum is to remove water from the contents thereof. This is why whenever you are indulging in any type of anal play you use lots of lube and reapply lube FREQUENTLY.

Because of this drying-over-time effect, leaving a toy in place may case it to stick to the tender tissues, with unhappy results when the toy is removed. It's much better for longer periods of play to take it out every so often and re-lube.

In general (my experience, YMMV), water-based gel lubes (the thicker consistency ones) seem to work best. The greasy lubes are often recommended for anal, but they're hard to clean up and can do bad things to condoms and toys - always check compatibility!
