Feeling the need to combine your techno-gadgetry and real-live-doll fetish?
A Japanese company is selling a life sized female robot for approx. $200,000.

"Japan Unveils Lifelike Female Robot"

Yuri Kageyama, AP

"TSUKUBA, Japan (March 16) -- A new walking, talking robot from Japan has a female face that can smile and has trimmed down to 95 pounds to make a debut at a fashion show. But it still hasn't cleared safety standards required to share the catwalk with human models. Developers at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, a government-backed organization, said their "cybernetic human," shown Monday, wasn't ready to help with daily chores or work side  by side with people — as many hope robots will be able to do in the future. "Technologically, it hasn't reached that level," said Hirohisa Hirukawa, one of the robot's developers. "Even as a fashion model, people in the industry told us she was short and had a rather ordinary figure." For now, the 62.2 inch tall black-haired robot code-named HRP-4C — whose predecessor had weighed 128 pounds — will mainly serve to draw and entertain crowds." http://news.aol.com/article/japanese-robot/383912

I saw that yesterday. It completely creeped me out: if this is what they can achieve today, think of what this doll will be like in five or ten years *shiver*.

Next thing you know, these things will be smothering us in our beds. And some wankers will be marrying them.

It looks like she has a chastity belt.  Is that removable?

You'll admit in the end that you actually love Melanie Griffith.

Ya gotta love them techno nerds.  They can't get any real pussy so they go to Radio Shack and build their own.  Until they build a model that whimpers nicely when you paddle it's ass, however, I'm not really that interested.

kitten - We won't be surprised at all when the die hard types marry their robots.

mefisto69 - Please get out of the house more often.

shivermetimbers - You will have to inspect the robot in question yourself to find out!

YoursMistress - Maybe Pamela Anderson will be the next prototype.

Marc2b - That is an excellent suggestion and you could probably make money on that patent.

If I had $200k to throw around, I'm pretty sure I could pay some women to dress up like robots for me.

You're too normal, slaveboy  . The attraction of the robot for some sad guys is precisely that it's not a woman, and that it has no needs, no thoughts, and no intelligence - that bitch doesn't answer back, and did you see the way she opens her mouth? Woah: a true cock worshipper.

Aesthetically, the design of the robot makes me think that the people behind it have been reading too many mangas. She looks like one of those panty-pissing drawings that are so popular with a certain section of the Japanese male population  .

Stuff like this really freaks me out. I can only hope that in the future, people won't choose to replace real-life partners with robots...

Dang it...why can't they make MALE instead of Female robots...There are a LOT of women out there who would fork over the bucks for a BoB that also took out the garbage, gave hugs and cleaned up without complaints.

sigh

psssttt...If there is enough consumer demand for male robots that are "fully functioning" then those models will be profitable enough for companies to research, develop and put on the market.

I'm buying one....She will be my sex slave.  She will love me, dammit!!! I can just imagine my new toy trying to cram herself into a trash compactor and reaching out to turn it on to avoid having sex with me.

So sad.
