Your post was likely a fast reply, but I entirely agree with you. It's a 'tough shit' situation. It makes no difference if she played for him on cam, that's a private arrangement and not a 'business' transaction. It's a lesson learned for the plaintiff and one they have benefitted from overall despite initial outlay. there isn't even a dispute regarding ownership given the items were purchased by the plaintiff, remain in their possession and the defendent isn't making any claim to them.
