MoGa -> "I'd go down on a law man for a kitchen floor" (3/24/2009 5:07:30 AM)

**I took liberties with the title of this thread. It is a quote from Natural Born Killers, in which the character of Micky says to Mallory "I'd go down on a law man for a tank of gas"**
*************************************************************************************************************************************
So, I received a rather nice letter from a slave today in which he offered his services to me, being a service slave only, without conditions. Imagine that? He even offered to kiss the ground I walk on. So after thinking about his offer, I decided to respond in kind.

Here is my response:

Hi slave,
Yes, I could use a slave like you. I need my kitchen floor fixed. It is a rather simple job, but not one that I could do. In order for you to kiss the ground I walk on, you must first be sure I do not fall through it (Kitchen floor) Which, incidentally, I have already done.

Oh, and I don't have funds to pay for this, so bring money with you.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

MoGa

Do you think he will respond? Or am I just being one of those hopeful Domina's who has way to much expectations from someone who has offered to do "anything" for me? I mean, if they are going to offer, isn't it our responsibility as Domina's to at least give them a chance to prove they mean what they say? [8|]

I don't think Your expectations are too high, but if he doesn't show (and he probably wont), it's because he was just saying whatever he thought You wanted to hear. I am a service slave, and I honestly don't have problems doing work for no 'reward'. Most service slaves, really aren't however. I've come to realize that I am a rare breed. For a true service slave the 'reward' is the joy of knowing we have eased some burden off the one we serve. There are true service slaves out there, but You will probably have to wade through lots of fakes and flakes to find one. It's less difficult to find guys who will work for You, but they usually expect to have their kink fulfilled afterwards, and they get grumpy if You ask them to do too much work.

It's worth the search though if that is what You are looking for though, because a loyal service slave is willing to do things most other slaves wont. You could find a line out the door of slaves willing to kiss the ground You walk on, but finding one who will fix it for You and thank You for the privilege is the needle in the haystack.

No, am afraid not...   It is a nice try on your part, but if he does respond, it will be to call you a greedy, fake, domme.   Besides, if you never ask for what you want/need, there is only slim and no chance you will get it, because a great number of boys out there, have difficulty with consideration for the other, and the concept of service beyond what makes their dicks hard.  [:D] M

MoGa -> RE: "I'd go down on a law man for a kitchen floor" (3/24/2009 5:33:56 AM)

I actually started this thread as a tongue in cheek post. I really didn't expect a response from him, other than the one that FullfigRIMAAM1 had suggested that I would get. But surprise! He said he would come and do it lol Now, let's see if that is true. I won't hold my breath. Anyone that knows me, knows I am not one to ask anyone to do anything and have them pay for it. That is what made my response to him funny. I never expected a response back. Pigs really do fly...

Actually drew, I am not really seeking anything or anyone right now. But if he lands in my lap, who am I to shove him off? <s>

In that case then I hope he does show up and actually fixes Your floor for You. But if he doesn't, oh well, I guess You didn't get less than You expected. Kudo's though for calling these guys out on their usual bluffs.

MsStarlett -> RE: "I'd go down on a law man for a kitchen floor" (3/24/2009 5:41:57 AM)

Yes, Drew, you are a rare breed.

I've been taking a break from the drama - and playing WoW - because I just got rather tired of the "I'll do anything for you" - as long as it doesn't hurt, doesn't take to long, won't cost me any money and doesn't require any specials skills, because if you want anything besides sexual services, I'm just useless - types.  After a year of listening to it and trying to actually work something out, I need a break.

I gave it a try - sort of like MoGa - and when asked "What can I do for you?" I flat out answered what I needed to have done.  I did meet a couple of nice subs who seem to be great guys and one actually seemed to want to be useful, but he and I just didn't 'click'.  Not that there was anything wrong with him, he just wasn't a good match.

Exactly, that is the point of this thread. How many of us actually answer their emails with a request that they either put up or shut up? Normally this kind of email gets the delete button without a backward glance. [:D]

<Hugs> Welcome back!

Actually, this is the first times I have answered one of these type emails with a repair that is real. Normally, I tell them that they can come and clean, laundry, clean out my shed, mow my grass and other stuff that I know they will never come do. But I thought, what the hell? Might as well put it out there what I really need done.

ShiftedJewel -> RE: "I'd go down on a law man for a kitchen floor" (3/24/2009 5:53:38 AM)

Hiya MoGa... how you doing?

I got an email from a "service" sub that happened to be a massage therapist. He noted that in my profile I talk a lot about foot massages (I'm kinda ate up with it... lol). He offered and I said sure!! Come on out!! Hell, I'm not gonna turn that down!! And then we talked on messenger a few times... Haven't heard from him since. At this point in time that's all I'm going for... you wanna come to my house and help me with some projects? Wanna massage my feet? Great, bring it!! But after all the crap we've been through with the one that just up and disappeared a few weeks ago... we aren't looking to add anyone to our household again... that was way to costly in so many ways.

I'm right there with MsStarlett... I'm on hiatus... indefinately.

I've gotten to that point with the bs "blackmail" emails. I'm like ok... you want me to blackmail you, then you better make the first installment now otherwise I am not indulging this conversation. It seems to sufficiently scare them away.

MoGa -> RE: "I'd go down on a law man for a kitchen floor" (3/24/2009 6:00:10 AM)

<Hugs Jewel> I am getting better thank you for asking. You're right it is a tough row to hoe. I think I would be nervous about someone coming over to give me a foot massage, but then again, why not? I mean, I would have to get to know him better than a couple emails, but I would be open to the idea. Unfortunately, I don't think they mean it. [8|]

I've been on cm for close to 4 years and have yet to meet one in person who claimed to want to just get to know me. Other than the two subs I have had from here, the rest were either no shows or so obnoxious when they did show up, I was gone before my coffee cooled.

Good to see you here. You are missed.

Oh! I got one of those! lol I didn't demand the money first, I asked him his plan and details, and he had nothing to say! lol But I like your idea better! I will keep it in mind [:D]

LadyPact -> RE: "I'd go down on a law man for a kitchen floor" (3/24/2009 6:07:30 AM)

Ok.  First of all, I had told you that clip and I would have taken care of this had I have known.  Next time, you're going to tell Me when these things happen as they happen.

To answer your question, yes, there have been certain folks who I've encountered in My life who were the genuine article.  I don't base these things on Dominance or submission.  I think it has more to do with the spirit of humanity.

Sitting here today, I know who's been important to Me when I really needed them.  I value them higher than the casual acquaintance that I may have known for years.

CatdeMedici -> RE: "I'd go down on a law man for a kitchen floor" (3/24/2009 6:12:43 AM)

Tongue in cheek or not, doesn't this just fuel the " we are fakes" and "greedy bitches" controversy?

Lynnxz -> RE: "I'd go down on a law man for a kitchen floor" (3/24/2009 6:13:50 AM)

If I'm a greedy bitch for telling someone to put up or shut up....

*shrug*

Guess I am.

doll -> RE: "I'd go down on a law man for a kitchen floor" (3/24/2009 6:15:32 AM)

*agrees with MoGa*  Hell, I sure hope that the guy does come fix the floor...I am so tired of seeing that board with my name on it lol.  And THEN maybe MoGa will cook more....but then, I DID spend the day with her at the ER when she fell through the floor...the good subbie that I am.  <I am not even HER sub>

SteelofUtah -> RE: "I'd go down on a law man for a kitchen floor" (3/24/2009 6:17:41 AM)

Is one greedy when somone says they give money away and you ask for some?

Maybe so, but that wasn't my intention when I posted this. If they want to come on here and bitch about it, let them. I was just curious how many actually do respond with an honest request back to these emails. <Hugs> Good to see you [:)]

As a sub, I see dominants complain about the greedy, "take care of me" subs and slaves that are out there, so I guess one would have to just make a different thread about the "fake and greedy" subs/slaves that lie, manipulate or whine to get what they want.
