ORIGINAL: foxglove716 Do any of you have physical declarations of ownership aside from a collar? I was thinking of getting a silver I.D bracelet, the kind kids used to wear a long time ago, that reads "if lost return to Dan" since I have a tendancy to get lost often. I'm quite pragmatic I guess. I'd go with a removable option of ownership over a permenant one. A dog tag :) Which I've used on a chain, bracelets on both wrists that were welded on? Sure, I'd do that, because if the relationship goes south? Or, if they're released with my blessing I'd rather not have my mark left on them. Piercings can be removed, as can a collar or welded bracelets. Yes I understand a tattoo can be removed, but I'd rather they not have to go to that hassle/spend that money to get rid of it should they feel they must. Regards Isara. i always felt a permanent marking would be a "hard limit" too. But when Master wanted to mark me - brand me with a tattoo of his insignia (thankfully he did not want me to go through a hot iron branding - deciding that inflicting that kind of pain on me did not grow my submission any differently), i had concerns but worked through them. Now i happily and proudly wear his mark. As long as i continue to work hard for him, he will not release me, so i don't worry about that. However - - if such a day should come, i am honored to wear the mark of a man who effectively helped me turn my life around. i wear a 24/7 collar (gold and titanium) and his mark on my right flank. Funny, a realtor i met recently complemented my "unique necklace" and said it looked "strong." :)
