i know, for Gorean slaves third person speech is often required, to remind one of her place if she is new, or perhaps for punishments depends on the Master

3 piercings, one hood, two labia, and getting a tatoo with the lifestyle symbol and property of next month. Along with the fact that I am not allowed to cut or color my hair.

The idea of the "if lost please return to" bracelets sound awesome! Do you think there'd be a place to get that made?

trooperlv -> RE: signs of ownership (2/12/2006 5:47:54 PM)

Last summer Master had me inked with his name.

I think most jewlers also specialize in engraving. Or you could even do it yourself with metal embossing tools

MyCaptainsPet -> RE: signs of ownership (2/12/2006 6:12:13 PM)

i have a chain with a small charm that i wear 24/7. Since the moment He put it on me i've worn it and not removed it.

Ummm sissy sweetheart...why do you not go to a kink aware doctor? I would think that they had seen a TV before?
Damn, sissy must have overlooked all the doctors that are listed under the "Kink Aware" section of his HMO plan. Funny, sissy's HMO doesn't seem to have a "Kink Aware" section ... what gives here?

We just got an antique torque for our slave. It is not a collar... but it is a symbol of ownership.

Master has suggested tatooing my sin on my neck of shoulder. My sin number is found on a slave registration sight (slave identification number)

Do any of you have physical declarations of ownership aside from a collar? I was thinking of getting a silver I.D bracelet, the kind kids used to wear a long time ago, that reads "if lost return to Dan" since I have a tendancy to get lost often.

I'm quite pragmatic I guess. I'd go with a removable option of ownership over a permenant one. A dog tag :) Which I've used on a chain, bracelets on both wrists that were welded on? Sure, I'd do that, because if the relationship goes south? Or, if they're released with my blessing I'd rather not have my mark left on them. Piercings can be removed, as can a collar or welded bracelets.

Yes I understand a tattoo can be removed, but I'd rather they not have to go to that hassle/spend that money to get rid of it should they feel they must.

Isara.

i always felt a permanent marking would be a "hard limit" too. But when Master wanted to mark me - brand me with a tattoo of his insignia (thankfully he did not want me to go through a hot iron branding - deciding that inflicting that kind of pain on me did not grow my submission any differently), i had concerns but worked through them. Now i happily and proudly wear his mark. As long as i continue to work hard for him, he will not release me, so i don't worry about that. However - - if such a day should come, i am honored to wear the mark of a man who effectively helped me turn my life around.

i wear a 24/7 collar (gold and titanium) and his mark on my right flank. Funny, a realtor i met recently complemented my "unique necklace" and said it looked "strong." :)

Goodness [;)] your collar sounds lovely!. I wasn't criticising anyone's relationship, I just look at things differently I guess. What is it? One in two/tree? marriages will fail, and BDSM relationships, when they're long term, are (for me at least) not unlike a marriage. (Though our version of it can be more fun [;)])That's not to say I'm dooming myself from the start, but I'm realistic, relationships -do- fail, and sometimes they go bad. I'd rather not have marked someone permenantly.

No criticism taken at all!

And yes, i think my collar is quite lovely :)

i also had doubts that "forever" really exists. And it may not, but for all he has done for me, i would continue to wear his mark with honor. That was the reason for my initial "hard limit" (until i shed my own limits; see "hard limit" thread) - because nothing lasts forever. But now, when i see the mark...touch it...plant a kiss on it (with my fingers - i certainly can't reach my mouth to it!)...it does something to me. So i will have it forever :)

I will often wear a choker necklace or a ring but I am not collared to anyone (unless you count being a sub).

Cristalin -> RE: signs of ownership (3/21/2006 3:20:21 PM)

maybe if the doctor is your Mistress things would be easier[;)]...and a sign of ownership should make a submissive/slave proud and not ashame...just my thoughts, i hope i`m not offending anyone
