Can anyone give me some guidance as to the diameter, and, in somecases shape, of the wrist, neck , ankle and scrotum/cock holes that would be used in a set of stocks, pillories, humblers and "cock stock".

I have been asked by three dominants to make them a humbler, and one is showing considerable interest in in other furniture as well.

Any help greatly appreciated.

There is an old publication called "the Measure of Man" by Dreyfuss that is a designer's reference to the physical size of various body measurements. The charts are broken down in "percentiles" which is the distribution of the size among age and gender variations. This reference should still be available with some searching, it will give you all the information you will need without doing all the measurements yourself. Yes, it covers wrists and ankles sizes but for a humbler I think you are on your own.

The best way to work out the details yourself is to model the designs in cardboard before you start cutting wood and metal. Good luck and have fun!

I know my balls will work their way thru an 1 1/2" metal bolt together ball weight/stretcher ring when I'm totally relaxed. They haven't gotten thru the 13/8" ring yet. From that I'd say an 1 3/8 to 1 1/2" circular hole would work for a humbler. I purchased a wooden humbler when they first appeared and it had a 1" hole. I wasn't able to get it on! I made a  7/16" spacer for between the halves and rounded the square edges and it works good now. For capturing both cock and balls I can get an 1 7/8" solid cock ring on, but it also will fall off when totally relaxed. For a 2 half lock together stock 1 3/4" to 1 13/16' would probably work. For wrist holes and shapes and neck holes measure Yours and plan accordingly. Remember females in general are smaller sizes than males. Good luck, Scotty

I just viewed Your profile and discovered You're metric! Here's the conversion numbers: 7/16" = 11.11mm; 1"=25.40mm; 1 3/8"=34.92mm, 1 1/2"=38.10mm, 1 3/4"=44.45mm, 1 13/16"=46.04mm and 1 7/8"=47.62mm. Again good luck with Your project. Scotty

Much thanks to both Scotty and Hardbutt. You have both given me much substance and ideas to work with.

Scotty. Can I also ask you if the hole you use in the humbler is round or horizontally eliptical?

You are welcome! I've made many things in the past and have one other suggestion for wrist and ankles hole size and shapes... trace handcuffs and legcuffs as hole templates. You can even change the size to match the buyers' needs, say larger or smaller partners, by asking them to count the number of ratchet teeth showing when the cuffs are comfortable.

Your welcome Cage. The hole in the humbler was origionally round. When I added the 11.11mm spacer it made the hole eliptical.  I rounded off the upper and lower edges [ lower toward balls] and rounded the edges at the  half split joint. I;m sure if You  drill a round hole and round the edges top and bottom it will work nicely. My humbler is 25.40 mm thick in that area. If Yours is thinner it would need less rounding off of the top and bottom to be comfortable wearing. Take care, Scotty
