Are you talking symbolically or literally here?  I don't know many Viscounts running around with their slutty wives.

Sad - I can name at least 4 Viscounts, 2 Counts, and 11 Dukes from 6 different kingdoms who run around with their slutty wives (and who are manwhores themselves... )

how many of you know what THAC0 stands for, without resorting to wikipedia?

It's a little bit like a TACO with more hhhhhh to it.

That was my first thought, too, kittin.

No wonder i'm not a D&D'er... *sigh*

Yes, know what it means and have the Crown Royal bags to prove it.

ok, gotta ask,,,,have you ever called in sick just to roll a new character and write a backstory?

i admit,,after i quit using and drinking, i just changed addictions...might have gone over the top a bit, as in 3 different campaigns a week for 5 years

I AM UBERNERD,HEAR MY POCKET PROTECTOR RATTLE

Guilty of that...then I discovered that I could combine my gaming with my love of writing with text-based rpg's.  I even managed to get around the firewall at work, by loading my AoL onto a zip drive and connecting it to an external modem so that I could log on and get my fix at work.

I am more curious as to whether or not the threesome happened in real life or was a role playing mental exercise.

I used to play 2nd ed a long time ago.  In more recent years, I have played 3.0 and 3.5, but haven't found a new group to play with since I moved.

I looked at 4.0, but didn't like some of the new rules, so I'll stick with 3.5.

I didnt at first either, until I actually gave it a shot... By that point I couldnt wait for next Saturday to play again

Sadly I do know what it means.
I haven't played in ages, but I have a lot of really great memories of the all-nighters we would pull in high school and when I was in the Navy. My fondest memories were of the trap dungeon I created when my group was getting a little too cocky. I don't think it was their fondest memory however!

I know.... it's been over 25 years for me. And one of the things that I love so much about Lumus. He's been gaming almost as long as I have!

(Do you know how many nights we spend gaming rather watching TV?)

Meh, we have 4th Edition here but we stick with 3.5 rules. Come to think of it, we're such geeks that we have copies of all editions!
