I'll give them money occasionally when I have a few loose bills or change.  I live in a smaller city, so I see the same people over and over again.  I know what they are going to do with it.   Some I give to, and some I don't.  It's generally the older drunks, and crazies that I give a few dollars too.  I won't give money to young crackheads and tweekers. 

A guy in his early 20's I saw down the street from my place everyday at the grocery store.  He had the same spiel....his car broke down and he was trying to get back to California.  He could have fucking walked to California with all the time he spent standing out there, or hopped a train and rode in style.  He's a crackhead, and he doesn't just beg.  The little asshole walks around neigborhoods stealing scrap metal and shit off of people's porches.  He tried to sell me a basket he said he made himself.  I knew damn well he stole it off someone's lawn.  I won't give that little asshole a dime.

Status: offline 		I put my sweater under the head of a drunken bum sparwled out on the sidewalk and then invited him to my 6th birthday party. My mom was in the store or something and she freaked and said he couldnt come to my party.

I have stuck money unknowingly to them into the pockets of homeless foks and much to the horror of my sister when we shared a pad, I brought one home, let him take a shower and let him sleep on my couch one night. I did it again earlier when I lived alone as a student brought a hugely fat homeless guy home.

I gave out the 'staff meal' every night to homeless folks on the way home from my shift at a restaurant.

I am kind of over homeless people now. I dont know, I tried too hard. They smell. One lady I used to give her money everyday. Old black lady. One night coming home from work I was face to face with her ass taking a dump in the street, it curdled my stomache. I am amazed how long they survive. I remember one guy I used to see and then one day he was sitting there but dead. So creepy. I will give clothes to women's shelters and share if I really feel like it but all in all I rather give money to street musicians and I wouldnt ever invite a homeless person home again. I mean nothing bad happened but it was not pleasant really, didnt feel like I helped them much either.

I feed birds and pay street musicians.

I will help people help themselves.  There was a homeless man that won a lot of money... within a couple years he had spent the money and was homeless again.  You have to treat the root before anything can be a help and then teach or learn how to use the new growth.

I would like to be a hobo. There is a certain nobility in riding the rails.  Alas, born to late.
Homeless not so much. Although to be free of all cares might be appealing, I would think that the quality of my pussy would probably suffer dramatically. Would you take me in?

Homeless in Canada doesn't sound too groovy. Cold fucking Winters when combined with dodging the piles of shit from aged black women just kind of bum me out.

No, I don't want to be homeless.

Status: offline 		I have brought a couple home and dealt with many at the shelter.  Sometimes it can take a week to get rid of that street odor... omg... the stories I could tell!

Status: offline 		While we still can decide to do what we will with our money, we should get to decide what to do with our money.  It is up to us to accept the consequences of our choices, whether we give a bum a buck,  drop a dollar in collection plate, or not give a penny to anyone we don't feel obligated to give a penny.

So, at least for now it is your choice to decide what to do with your money.  Except that stuff that is taken from you by the implied force of arms, that is.

Heheh domiguy I dont want to be homeless either. The black lady and many of the homeless people I was referring to, but not all, were from when I lived in Manhattan.

The good thing about winter is everyone has their windows closed so I can walk down the road and sing loud and not feel like anyone can hear me. Also it is nice to be all warm in the house even though it is cold out. Knitting is fun in the winter.

My dog used to love winter, playing ball in the snow. She helped me enjoy winter better.

She is the best homeless thing I ever took home-- she was born in Harlem. Too bad she died. She hated the city except Central Park, she loved Canada.
