For his charm with the ladies, care for the elderly and a bit of sword twirling, there can be only one.

The Kurgan from Highlander.

Claire Beaucamp from Outlander...

Any female role in Linda Howard novels...

(both related to the "Who would you do" thread :) )

Stephanie Plum (by Janet Evanovich) just because I'd like some of those crazy stories to tell....

More later, as I think on it.....

Surprised no one said it yet.

I would most certainly like to be.....

The Doctor.

I just worry what it would be like to know I was the last of my species.

Rose Tyler would make up for that I am sure.

Jubal Harshaw & / or Valentine Michael Smith.

Any of them, actually -- Jill, Jubal's household crew, Ben, Patty, & on & on . ... . .

Yet another Heinlein book, 'Stranger in a Strange Land' . .. . . .

But mostly, I always wanted to be just like Jubal when I grow up, whenever that happens to be . ... .

I just like this thread so much, there's so many great fictional characters I'd like to be . .. . .

The ones who recently popped into my head are either Cirocco Jones or Gaby Plauget in John Varley's Gaea trilogy (Titan, Wizard, & Demon) . . . . . Most especially wanna be Cirocco when I grow up . . . . . .

Davan, i really enjoyed Heinlein's Methuselah's Children but i can't think of the name of the main female character.  Lazarus Long was in that one, too.

Hi, fluffypet61----
Yes, Lazarus gets around.
I remember that title but I don't recall the main character but I bet DemonKia would know.  :>
