Im takeing a 40 foot boat on a 1500 mile cruise this spring through the USA. A submissive friend of mine who wants to go suggested I Should call it the Sub marine cruise . One thing led to another in the conversation and she suggested I have a contest and reward the winning submissives with a free cruise. LOL actually its just an excuse for both of us to meet some interesting people.
So any ideas what would an appropriate contest be?
Any other thoughts on the subject from a subs veiw would be appreciated?

An essay contest on a very D/s topic maybe. Not the most exciting thing, but it would do the job.

I'm sorry; I don't have any ideas at the moment, but I can't help asking how you're going to take a 1500 mile cruise through the United States on a boat. Are you going to go up the Mighty Mississip to another river system or something?

That's simple. The subs will carry the boat while on land.

I would worry about a sub who has that much time on her hands ( I am assuming you only want female subs), and does not need an income for that time period.

Either she is going to have to be fairly well off or she is looking for someone to take care of her Your best bet would be a retired sub.

The planned trip is around Michigan through IL and around it then up between Il and IN....but since posting this Ive been offered two boat deliveries one from San Diego to Alaska and one from NYC to Miami. So I may have to change some plans.
As far as time I theres no reason someone couldnt take just a week or so. As for being confined on boad Id think some would find that part appealling !
Personally I like to explore so Im sure I'll poke my nose into interesting places and towns.
Having a interesting Dom and his sub/subs on board might be fun.sorta depends on him and them.

Hmmm stuck on a smallish boat with virtual strangers.......

The idea of saling around for a week or two sounds fun, the thought of doing it with people I don't know... Not a chance in hell. Cruise Ship, sure, lil boat... no thanks

I don't like people in my space at the best of times and I mean people I consider friends and loved ones. So the thought of being stuck with people I don't know out at sea, in limited space ... total nightmare.

I'm sure some ppl would think it was awesome tho, so good luck.

How Pertinent!

We are off tomorrow on a weeks sailing in our 50' ketch around the south coast of the UK. A sub on board is a usefull asset...

Some positions and tests you can set.
A galley slave; How well does she cook, clean, etc.
Deck hands; Do they look good on all fours, naked and scrubbing?
First Mate; (might upset the real First Mate) Can the sub read a chart, use a sextant etc?

Other important things... does she get sea sick, can she jump 15' with a rope between her teeth when your fucking up the mooring maneuvers, is she pretty enough to distract the harbor master when your trying to get out before he realizes you haven't paid for the night, can she shin up the mast to retrieve that halyard, does she give a good bj...????

The thing here that sticks out for me is that you offer it as a contest/prize... and then use the term... your sub/subs. I have never known a way to gain even a part time submissive as giving your boat trip and dominance through a contest. In which case... if you are the prize dominant that goes with the boat ride and of course boat crew... what makes the prize worth it? And are you prepared for a mutanty?
