Personally, I'd get the router information. This can be obtained by going to a connected machine, clicking on Start, Run, typing in cmd and clicking OK From there, type in ipconfig and the Default Gateway will be given as a series of four numbers, e.g. 192.168.1.1, note them down and type exit and press Enter. Type this address in to your browser (Firefox or Internet Exploder) It will prompt you for the password, the username is most likely admin, the password default is usually admin or password. Once in to the router you will have access to all of the settings. Note them down, please please please do not try to change them unless you understand what you're doing. Put the information into the Vista machine and you're good to go. If you need remote assistance, drop myself or another techie on here a PM and we'll see what we can do.
