I refused to vote - the choices are way to shallow, and none of them mean a damn thing to me in the long run if Other, MUCH MORE IMPORTANT things/qualities are lacking in a person : intelligence, creativity, a sense of humor, a sense of perspective, integrity, honesty, loyalty.....

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so good looking is a strictly personal judgement call.  (Besides which, looks fade - and if they're great looking but a completely self absorbed, shallow piece of shit otherwise - they aren't gonna look good for very long.)

Well versed in control and BDSM - eh, not so much so.  Control isn't on my priority list, since I am absolutely uninterested in ds, and if he's Ingelligent and Honest I can TEACH him how to swing a flogger to my liking.

Well hung is useless unless he's intelligent enough to have learned what to do with it.... and if he's got good hands, a creative streak, and can breath through his ears he doesn't necessarily need to be "hung" at all.  I can't keep him in bed All the time, so I'd damn well better be able to hold a conversation with him afterwards to.

Financially secure?  I'm financially secure, I don't need someone in my life to be financially secure for me.  If he has sufficient intelligence and creativity, financial security will eventually follow, and in the meantime make for a much happier life - not Easier, but definately Happier.

I find this list even more limiting than the one you gave in your other poll, "what is important in a sub/slave".
At least in that one you offered intelligence...why not in this one?  I would require an intellegent dom, if I went that way.

This list is more in line with what is important in a play partner, in my opinion...although, intelligence would still be a good thing even for that.  Seeing as how I'm looking for more than superficial attributes in any partner...be they dominant or submissive...I was unable to answer either of your polls.

Perhaps if you decide to post another poll such as this, you will offer...at the least...a box to tick for 'none of the above/please explain' seeing as that may give better insight into what people look for.
