Unsure as to whether this should be in this forum so apologies if not. Anyway, i graduate this year however due to the credit crunch there's a great chance i won't have a job. However, i've got a decent amount of savings and am seriously considering travelling across the States in a RV type vehicle. Now obviously i'll be looking to see the major sites but i'm hear to ask Yyou what "kink places of interest" whether it be clubs etc i visit. i take it San Fran/L.A. would be the major places or am i just being an ass by assuming! Thanks for any advice/tips. Yourplaything

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation and kudos to you on saving while in school! :> I'm not really aware of places per se to visit in the States (I'd like to check out the Amsterdam clubs sometime) but were you to contact bdsm organizations in cities that may be en route, that will likely give you some positive options in addition to the information you receive on here. No offense but I'd "steer" clear of a farm or Amish country in that outfit! [:D] If you get to Florida there is a club in Orlando called The Woodshed that is interesting and I think Tampa and South Miami have a few places. Master Cecil who runs the Woodshed is on here and he is very helpful and probably can recommend other spots in the US. Have fun and don't be baaaaa...ddddd!

I'm heading out there for a 2-week vacation in a couple of weeks, for much the same reason. I'd also suggest scheduling your trip in such a way as to hit some of the major annual Kink Cons, like Beat Me In St. Louis, Black Rose in Washington, DC, etc. Hell, might as well, long as you've got the time. You may never have the chance to do this again. Good luck, and have fun.

Well, it hasn't been in the top ten since they put the highway five miles out, but I still have that Howdy Doody backdrop set up in my garage. Why settle for the weirdness that is San Francisco and L.A. I've got Clarabelle on ice. "Say kids, what time is it?" chia* (the pet)

Seattle and and the Phoenix/Tucson area have large active communities and clubs. One problem with going to different places is that most clubs require an orientation session. These are not always held on the same nights as a play party. However, if you belong to a club that has a reciprocol policy with another, then you can get in without the orientation.
