I am building up quite a collection of toys. I am switch, so I use these toys frequently myself, but my dominant partner would also like to be able to use them. Here's the catch. He is wheelchair bound with limited use of his arms, shoulders, and back. We have determined that if the toy handles on things like floggers, crops, and canes and the like were longer, he could use them without a problem. We would like to not have to have separate stocks of toys. I was thinking that if the handles could be extended with a screw down pole, then it could be removed when I play with them and easily replaced when he wished to use them. I am looking for someone who would be able to do this modest modification for us. We would probably like poles of varying lengths as the situation required, but all to fit any number of different toys. All offers will be appreciated!

Does he also have limited strength in his hands and arms?
The problem is that just adding length to the toy is going to mess up the balance/effect of it- a cane will "whip" different, a flogger will be way out of balance (and a heavy flogger will be very difficult to use, i suspect).
Not saying that it can't be done, just that the results may not be what you're hoping for.

His strength is okay, it is just the use of. I imagine there will be a great deal of practice involved in learning how the toys move with the added length. This is just one possibility I was thinking of, but feel free to offer others. He is not one to be limited by anything, so it is a "Where there's a will there's a way" kind of thing. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I've made a hand full of toys and if you want a low budget extension which screws ona nd off pipe fittings are cheap and durable, and readily available at home depot or lowes.
(This is a permanite solution)
How to do:
1. find the outer diameter of the handle of the toy.
2. visit lowes and purchase fittings of as close to the size as you can buy, fitings come from as small as 1/16th an inch to 4 inches and increase by 1/16th of an inch up to 1/2 in then by 1/4 inch to 2 inches. blah. I don't think you have a 2 inch grip on any of your toys. Buy a length of pip that fits the other side of the fixture, should be same size as your toys handle. Some glue may be needed.
3. glue the fixture to the toy's handle.
4. allow glue to setup per instructions.
5. screw the length of piping you purchsed into the fixture piece, cut off excess.
6. enjoy.

Feel free to email me if you need more through instructions.

The need to modify or create toys from scratch is a recurring theme and as a general rule of thumb the average hardware store yields some useful bits and pieces, just add a little deviant imagination. One thing not on everyones shelves however is a special modelling plastic and this may well solve some of your problems. It's called 'Friendly plastic' I believe in the United States and goes under the name 'Polymorph' across the pond here in England. When hot it can be shaped and molded by hand, when cold at room temperature it sets solid with properties akin to nylon plastic.  Ideal for making custom grips and handles, plus it's biodegradeable, non-toxic and reuseable again and again.

The downside though Polymorph is a swine to work with, shaping a gooey lump of semi-molten plastic at 60 degrees centagrade with bare hands requires speed, practice and patience but results will come. You can then use a hairdryer or hot air paint remover  to rework the desired area, using  metal tools to achieve fine detail. Don't be tempted to try drilling any holes in the stuff at least not with power tools until you are familiar with how the stuff behaves first.

Best Regards
