RiotGirl -> Posers (1/27/2006 8:07:00 PM)

With all the talks of posers, players, fakes and ect. i thought i'd throw in my recent events because i think its abit funny. Especially with all the "rants" about it.

i'm a poser, i'm a fake!

i was recently told i havent a submissive mind frame! Which is why i argue with my Dom and get into all the "i's"

Yes folks, thats right, i've been disqualified as a submissive by my own Dom. Making me a poser!

Its too bad collarme doesnt have the option to put "poser" :p

so there you have it folks! i've outed myself. i will seriously work on this posing problem and not pose as a submissive anymore.

siamsa24 -> RE: Posers (1/27/2006 8:45:54 PM)

I would like to join your poser support group. Is it a 12-step program?

michaelGA -> RE: Posers (1/27/2006 8:50:01 PM)

could the Group theme song be "Vogue"

"Strike a Pose(r)"

LOL

foxglove716 -> RE: Posers (1/27/2006 9:03:52 PM)

Yep Im one of ya. Hello my name is foxglove and I am a poser.

As told to me by a *reliable* source on this website.

*Sets down a tray of brownies and coffee for the support group*

I propose for our first fieldtrip we seek out the REAL submissives on this website and grovel at their feet and look at them in ardant wonder, for us lowly sub-subs will never be as glorious as they.

*sigh*

michaelGA -> RE: Posers (1/27/2006 9:06:11 PM)

yeah, the ones that are legends in their own minds...LOL

LuckyAlbatross -> RE: Posers (1/27/2006 9:09:28 PM)

michaelGA -> RE: Posers (1/27/2006 9:11:31 PM)

Hello, my name is siamsa, and I am a poser.
I am also known as daddy's little girl, kitty and baby girl so if you see me under any of those names I am posing there too.......

IrishMist -> RE: Posers (1/27/2006 9:23:08 PM)

That's not the same as being disqualified/told by your own dom...
Of course the dom in question (with Riot) has to consider he is a poser himself, in feeling the need to call someone who refuses to submit to him a poser instead of looking in the mirror for answers. M

I get all pissy when I hear this sort of stuff. It's sort of like the "you aren't submissive enough" thing. Well, perhaps I'm not sub enough for you, but then maybe you aren't exactly right (Dom enough) for me either.

At any rate, if you are experiencing an on-going power struggle, then that points to something not being right with your power exchange relationship.

michaelGA -> RE: Posers (1/27/2006 10:02:20 PM)

does this translate into a "power failure"?

LOL

SirKenin -> RE: Posers (1/27/2006 10:39:57 PM)

I am a poser too. I have posed for a photograph more than once.

Gauge -> RE: Posers (1/27/2006 11:23:24 PM)

In the 12 step tradition I thought I would try to come up with some guidelines for recovery from being a poser.

1. We admit that we are powerless over being a poser and that our lives are pathetically unmanageable.

2. We came to believe that a power greater than ourselves could restore us to being REAL submissives and dominants.

3. We made a decision to turn our lives over to the care of a REAL dominant or submissive as we understand them.

4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of our wrong doings to others that are clearly better than ourselves.

5. Admitted to a REAL dominant or submissive the exact nature of our posing and how lowly and pathetic we are for trying to deceive others.

6. We were entirely ready to have the REAL dominant or submissive remove these defects of our posing character.

7. We humbly ask the REAL dominant or submissive to remove our shortcomings and tendencies toward posing.

8. We went through our blocked list and became willing to make amends to all of those we had posed before.

9. We made direct amends to those people unless the insolent bastard blocked us.

10. We continued to take a personal inventory and when we are posing, we promptly admit it.

11. We read everything we possibly can on BDSM written from REAL submissives and dominants seeking only for knowledge of their fucking standards so that we won't be accused of posing again.

12. Having had a deep revelation that we were REAL dominants and submissives as a result of these steps, we tried to take our message to other poor sods that are posers and to practice these principles in all of our online communications.

I think we can improve these steps, but I think that will get us started in the right direction.

I also think that we need a catchy slogan for our group. Something that will encompass what message it is we are trying to convey. You know like, Just Say No or something like that. I will make the first suggestion.

Don't Be A Posehead!

My name is Gauge and I am a recovering poser.

RiotGirl -> RE: Posers (1/28/2006 12:34:34 AM)

THANKS for the laugh everyone.

"power failure" i about keeled over and died laughing!!! Thanks all, the responses really made me smile!

Can we um, have pepsi at the poser support group? And erm, um vibrators? Cos i swear i need to take both with me every where i go!

Actually after much thought, talks with others, and a recent dicussion with an old friend in the lifestyle who believes in Absolute Slavery i have been redeemed as not a poser. i dunno, its kind of fun being a poser. i can run around and be a brat and snicker, go to a support group, AND grovel at worthy non poser's feet. As long as i can take a vibe and some pepsi, i'm a happy little camper! It could be fun to be a poser you know?

Does this mean i'm like a wannabee poser now?

Having just finished reading the post you made on bladder control, I misread that as a 'wannapee poser'.

I really need to get my mind off the streets and back in the gutter where it belongs.

::wonders if there are dues for the support group and offers to be the treasurer::

Celeste

P.S. I got my first.. "Gawds yer fat" email today. :) That, like, makes me all official and stuff, right? :-*

SirKenin -> RE: Posers (1/28/2006 1:20:11 AM)

We do not drink pepsi at support groups. Have you never seen the movies? We drink water, tremble and rock back and forth. [8D] And since we are forbidden to pose, we must remain seated at all times, lest the temptation become to great.

RiotGirl -> RE: Posers (1/28/2006 9:19:13 AM)

hee hee hee hee LMAO those last posts had me laughing so hard i started coughing! What a great way to start out the day! Well i suppose the water is okay.. i can give up small things for bigger things like a Vibe!! Woot Woot!

wannapee poser.. heh heh heh

LOL

Kenin.. we're rocking back in forth from the need to pee?
