strangedesire -> Sexual Assault Awareness Month (4/2/2009 2:36:36 PM)

In the United States, 1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men reported experiencing an attempted or completed rape at some time in their lives.  (1)

I am committed to ending rape and sexual assault.  I donate my time and money to organizations that oppose nonconsensual sexual violence.  (If you're in the Boston area, send some love to BARCC.  They're good people.)  I encourage others to do the same.  Perhaps I'm young and ideaistic, but I do believe that we can make a difference in the world.

Was curious as to what organizations accept donations that promote nonconsensual sexual violence?

Depending on how you define things, NAMBLA, maybe?

This is why I am a huge fan or women having pistols with CCW's (concealed pistol permits) knives or less lethal alternatives such as tasers or pepper sprays.  Advanced martial arts above and beyond the basic self-defense is always a plus, particularly ones that negate size/strength differences such as Judo, Ju-jitsu, Krav-Manga and a number of others.

Rapists find it hard to do their deed with a couple of sucking chest wounds and a crushed windpipe.

Rapists and abuser are ones that give nice guys a bad name, And it really pisses me off, and the quickest way to rile me up.  A former friend of mine was raped, she knew him, and won't tell me who the motherfucker is cause she knows I'll drag the sonovabitch dazed and bleeding out somewhere and kill the asshole.

In the warrior ethos, someone who attacks or deliberately hurts a non combatant particularly a woman (outside of consentual BDSM) or a child, their life becomes forfeit.  Therefore, a rapist, when he attacks, forfeits his right to keep that worthless document known as a birth certificate un-mated to a death certificate.  Preferably by a means as violent as his deed.
