TeachByRod -> A idea from a new person for consideration (1/28/2006 9:15:22 AM)

Hello i am new to posting in these forums and have not used them much to post over my time on collarme.

I am in the United Kingdom and i would say that my experience of use of the search option of the user id section as not been good . Myself like many a single male have used this option to contact people who themselves are looking for contact or who might be interested in contact .. Now they do not have to reply it is a free world and although manners may by some, be considered nice , not everyone uses them .

But the point im coming to is to ask why dont we have a Dominant forum where Dominat seeking can share the experiences and pass on advice and warnings to each other . For as we all know there are some whos motives and intentions are not as they claim .. And some just fish for personal details or troll through the Men for kicks and giggles and online fantasy..

Is there any others who use these forums or this board who would support this idea.....

There are two problems with this idea, at least from my perspective. The first is there might be someone whom you think people should be warned about, yet, at the same time they just might be what someone else wants and needs, and is, therefore, their idea of heaven. Different kinks for different folks.

The second thing is that why just a Dominant forum about those who "aren't as they seem". i find that same problems from my side of the blanket, so to speak. Should someone warn me about you??? or you about me???

If the profiles are used for fishing and giggles then that's between them and who they write. The internet isn't the only place to find bad manners, or to find people to hook up with..just some place that's convenient for both, i think.

i don't believe there's anything wrong with on-line fantasy -- it's added some lovely fuel to my otherwise boring thoughts..lots of things i never knew existed have become high on my favorite things to do list..lol

btw..welcome to both the forums and CM. Good luck..

Trouble is that not only is there often two sides to a story, all too often at least one side is a fabrication and one persons word is equal to the others to a third person who knows neither.

Such a forum would soon disintegrate into constant flamewars and bitter diatribes. Simply not worth it and not good of the 'community' here either. If an attitude irritates or confuses you then by all means post and ask others about that attitude, but when it comes to people, if they are not what is being looked for (That includes not being what they seem) delete 'em and forget 'em, if they keep it up block 'em.

Nice to see another Brit active on the boards BTW [:)]

I've found that normally, both are speaking the truth.

The truth as they see it.

Everyone is biased, and when talking about something that may have been bad, the bias comes out hard.

Without a general Lifestyle rethink including Conduct Codification, Redefining Terms, a Comprehensive Set of Rules, a definitive Method of Policing, and a Structured Hierachial System, all which would need to be agreed upon by not only all members of CM, byt world wide membership of the Lifestyle. It couldn't happen for the same reasin as KoM stated.

Warning people about me is a terrific idea:

Twisted humor, skewed perspective, bent morality, drop-dead sexy…

Yup, I should have a warning label.
