i have a feeling some people will find this amusing for the number of times "Coon" is said. As a matter of fact, it seems sort of tongue in cheek and condescending(listen to the speech of the interviewer)...or maybe that's just me.[8\|] i know if i welcomed some pinga into my home, and they were obviously rude and nasty to me, the menu would radically change to a knuckle sandwich[sm=sodoff.gif]

What I like is when they compare the taste of raccoon to the taste of opossum. As if people are so familiar with possum. And I'm sorry, but a small chance of contracting rabies is still too high for me.

Hell, I live in a rural state where both 'coon and possum hunting abound, and I won't go out of my way to eat either. A little town called Gillett down in the Delta has a annual 'coon supper, that is considered a must for local politicians to attend. I've ate 'coon before, but I've never had possum. Racoon tastes a little like rabbit, but it's a lot more gamey. No you won't catch rabies if it's cooked well.
