Here is a thought that came into my mind. I have noticed in my chat room that I know most everyone, but everyone has changed their screen name. I have too. I can tell because you know their ways. *How many times have you had to change your profile name on CollarMe?* I have had five due to different reasons. I wish CollarMe had a way you could change your screen name with out changing your profile. *Best Wishes,* MJ

I had Issues in 2005... so I took the LH name. I suspect SadisticPrincess is still {awaiting approval}.

Hi MJ, I know that when I am written to by someone that says "Hello, remember me?" and I don't recognise their screen name I find it just so darn confusing. I haven't personally changed my ID on CM and think it would be pretty cool if CM did code a name change function into people's profiles such as with IC. Edited to add: Despite not changing my screen name here, I did once stupidly delete my profile in error. I was having a chat on Yahoo with a friend of mine about changing my profile blurb and told him I decided to 'hide' it until I had finished and he could critique it. He starts telling me how he has deleted his profile on another site he no longer uses. I tell him to take a look before hiding it so that he could offer pointers. Just as I hit the 'hide' button he says, "It's not there... have you hidden it already b/c I can't find it?" I checked, couldn't find it, panicked, then realised that because I wasn't concentrating I'd stupidly deleted it instead of hiding it. I contacted support immediately who suggested I then contact one of the moderators, which I did. I got a pretty sarky response in return, but the upshot was that my profile was gone and I had to go through the motions of creating a new one - complete with the same screen name [:D]

i haven't had to change it but i did have to hack into it to change my password because my previous owner was mad at me for leaving him so he was going to try to sabotage me. Sadly, i had to do this on three or four other sites as well. Luckily, he's not very smart and changed them all to the same password.

Once because cme had a glitch that prevented people from posting. Took them three months to fix and you know I can't go three whole months without posting. I would have exploded!

I haven't changed my screen name yet; though I am considering a new name. When I joined with this name, I had an entirely different definition behind it than that which many seem to think. Had I known in advance it would attract a bunch of people stating 'You could dominate my dreams by spanking me!" (or whatever other fetish they crave), I certainly would not have created it to begin with...lol. Oy! But, I haven't fully decided if I wish to change the name simply because I don't really want another vanilla cone and I don't really care to hear an onslaught of, "you MUST be FAKE because you can't retain the same name!".

Dear Mam,or Mrs?,Dear Goedness , i never changed my nikname-is the nic name the same like the screenname?. Perhaps i have change on diferent sides some signs ,so i write different-like sub_Till,subTill,subtill,subTill,sub_till,till,,Till-but iam always a real dev sub,for ever bottom,hetero,a real slave in future,if their will be find by a Lady,who i like,and she will like myself,and will be owned. I've never changed my screen name here. I like my screen name, it wasn't taken, and it's identifiable to me, so I was glad no other mdr's were out there. But even if CM had a function to change names, I don't think I'd ever use it.

As a single person I changed user names twice. This recent change is to reflect that I am no longer unowned though I will always be known as Bear. When the cub posts, he will indicate when it's his post and not mine.
