I kind of deliberately left out Thailand - just about anything is available, I just think it is a relatively high risk place, if you don't have a local minder you can trust (I spend a lot of time in Asia Pacific, and am thinking about buying a home there, but I've given Thailand a wide berth).
There are a couple of reputable places I know of where the owner will serve as the local contact for you, but like I said before, their political environment right now is way too dangerous to risk going there, at least for me.
