Where is the platonic family situation of a young man 'doing the right thing and marrying the unwed girl' that the RNC claimed there would be?

Folks, this is what happens when a family of grifters camps out in the governor's mansion.

I wonder which of them feels lucker that they dodged that bullet? Bristol, who would have always known that she had married to advance her mother's political career (and damn her own happiness) or Levi, for not having to be a part of the "Washington Hillbillys?"

Still, you step back from it, and it's just another case of the failure of "abstinence only education."

Can you please explain what you mean by plutonic? Google has many ideas...

Well "dodging" that particular bullet took little effort, considering the bullet had no chance of hitting the target.  Obama had the electoral vote lead since April, and had the win since early October.  By then it was a question of "how much will Obama win by", not "if".

But I suspect that Levi (who posted on his MySpace page that he can't stand kids, until the Palin camp made him change it) counts himself the luckier.

Sorry [&:] .

PS: okay, seriously? The Palin family are really very entertaining. For example, I see that Mr Palin's sister just got caught breaking and entering twice (she had four hundred bucks on her from a previous burglary) She's awaiting trial or something. Add to this the soap operas and everything, and it's a miracle Moose O'Lini made it as far as the nomination. Perhaps their own reality show would be good? A nice tight slot somewhere, to ensure their debordements remain within a strict frame of early evening scheduling?

Isn't monosyllabic Levi absolutely terrified now? It is the Palins he's taking on. I mean, they'll kill him, won't they? These peeps are armed up to their teeth, with their helicopters and what have you. They'll bite his head off! Poor kid.

Hehehehe.  That's not what I meant, Mike, but ya'll have your fun keeping her in the spotlight, making her "the victim of vicious personal attacks on her family."  You're helping her raise money for '12.

I just prefer to stay clear of speculating a whole lot about how such private, personal matter should play out.  It seems pretty tacky, and low class.  Whatever creams the twinkie, though.

Come on Rich, those that want to sit in the big chair.....sort of have to expect this stuff, don't they. How much joy and merriment did the right enjoy while Clinton was trying to explain his blowjob.

DedicatedDom40 -> RE: If they were married, he would be seeking a divorce lawyer right about now... (4/6/2009 8:43:35 PM)

Every time some hollywood liberal brings out their personal dirt, the conservatives jump all over it as a bad social example.

My, how that view turns around once a dysfunctional conservative is in the spotlight.  All of a sudden, behavior that is critical is declared 'crass', and deemed invasive on a personal family problem.

When the Palins stand on a world stage as an example of conservative ideals and fail miserably, they HAVE NO RIGHT to any shelter from the criticism..

Keep dreaming about '12.  Thats the real masturbation exercise.....

The Democratic party's dream for 2010!  I mean, yeah, we're going to gain seats in the Senate and House anyway (for the third time running), but Palin going after the nomination will only make the gains better.

She won't get the nomination, of course, but her reaching for it can only splinter the Republican party and help the Democratic party.

I'd rather see Rudy have another go, but do keep in mind that the President could be very unpopular in a couple years.  Feeding her warchest, is feeding your nightmare.  Dragging her children out to trash them is the kind of idiocy that can backfire very badly in politics.

Seriously Rich you really see Rudy as a viable candidate in '12.....will "America's Mayor" still be able to "cash in" on 9/11.And if not ,what does he run on....I was a citizen of New York and take my word for it...on 9/10 the majority of New Yorkers couldn't wait for his term to end.The man was divisive ,acerbic and an all around ass....
