I don't like facebook. It reminds me of another site.... everybody knows what you're doing or say, or posting about..... other than the emails one can send. I suppose one could find out what I'm saying here (HA! They have) but at least they'd have to do a little searching.

I guess that's part of what I LIKE about facebook, is that I can see all those mini-updates without having to rummage!  The whole thing is new to me, I was never a myspace user or blogger.

And what site would that be? ;-)

Twitter rocks, I never did get face book.

Daddysredhead -> RE: Facebook vs the almighty CM-forum! (4/7/2009 7:27:53 PM)

I don't have Facebook, MySpace, or anything else.  I started a LiveJournal thing once, but it is completely private.  I posted to myself during some very dark days.  I hate all those networking sites.  I have tons of invites to join from friends and family, but I always tell them no.  I only have time to really keep up with one place and this is it.  I really don't care what my old classmates are up to.  If I did, maybe they would take up 30 spaces on my address or phone contacts lists... but they don't.  My CM friends do.  [:)]

DemonKia -> RE: Facebook vs the almighty CM-forum! (4/7/2009 7:51:40 PM)

CollarMe is my favorite social-networking by far, it was even before I 'discovered' the forums, now I'm madly in love . . . . .

I have a MySpace page as it's the only way to get in touch with my niece & nephew, otherwise . . *shrugs shoulders*

I like Twitter, but I'm a poet & I like it for a very similar reason to why I like writing poetry -- both 'force' me to conciseness, which is good for me . . . . (Ahem, some might note a tendency for this demon to go on & on & on & on & on & on & on . .. .. )

Mostly what I've done with Twitter so far is post uplifting & / or weird quotes, to jolt the masses . . . .

That & connect with the mass of women named Kia . .. . That was a trip . . . . Didn't realize there were so many of us 'til Twitter came along, now I have nearly 3 dozen in tribe-Kia . . . . Anyways . .. . [8|]

I just peeked at my social networking folder & all of them are dull dull dull . . . . . & probably half of them are smutty & / or adult . .. .. lol . . .. . I'd hang out at FL some, but I hate hate hate light-text-on-dark-backgrounds, it totally fucks with my vision & brain, it's practically migraine inducing . . . . lol

I think I might have opened a Facebook acct in the last coupla years, but like most of the vanilla sites there was little reason for me to hang out there . .. . .

I'm pretty much only into hanging out places where I can reference 'anal sex' or CBT or 'consensual violence' & get acceptance & understanding . . .. I really suck at the censorship thing & have never really agreed to go along with it . . . .

Daddysredhead -> RE: Facebook vs the almighty CM-forum! (4/7/2009 8:04:13 PM)

I agree, Kia.  If I can't openly and freely discuss the subtle nuances of anal orgasms vs. vaginal orgasms, or which nipple prefers to be pinched harder, I'm just not wasting my time there.

*giggles*

DemonKia -> RE: Facebook vs the almighty CM-forum! (4/7/2009 8:05:09 PM)

Oh, Daddysredhead, you so get what I mean . . . . . lol

[:D]

Daddysredhead -> RE: Facebook vs the almighty CM-forum! (4/7/2009 8:09:27 PM)

Of course I do... that's why I'm giggling.   [:D]

Only thing is, for me... I'm pretty serious.  I have no use for those sites since I'd have to muzzle my hands from typing the kind of things I like to talk about here.

              [sm=writing.gif]

ps - Kia, I bet you're serious, too, aren't you?  hehehe...

DemonKia -> RE: Facebook vs the almighty CM-forum! (4/7/2009 8:16:24 PM)

Absolutely.

I hosted a call-in talk show on the local community radio station for a few years, on Saturday mornings, & I totally had to get & keep myself in that 'talking to my grama' mode, all 'darn' & 'gosh' & I just can't do that . .. It drove me crazy, plus sex is like my favorite topic in the world . . . . They want me to come back, but I'll only do it as a late night show, when they calm down about 'obscenity' . . . . . Janet's little nipple really got all the broadcasters' panties in a twist, they're still all freaked out, they got uptight at the mere idea that I might *gasp* play Bill Hicks & George Carlin & Richard Pryor *gasp* swearing _at_1_a.m._ . . . . So . . .*shrugs shoulders*

&, Daddysredhead, while I tend to the excess of seriosity, these days I'm not sure my serious function is working correctly . . . . lol

LaTigresse -> RE: Facebook vs the almighty CM-forum! (4/8/2009 7:53:17 AM)

I have discovered how really careful I have to be about the whole facebook thing......my family sooooooo wouldn't understand a discussion about anal versus vaginal.

GreedyTop -> RE: Facebook vs the almighty CM-forum! (4/8/2009 8:13:08 AM)

I check my facebook once in a blue moon, and myspace only twice as often/

This is by far my favorite networking site.
