Okay THAT was cool.

I knew about some of them but the ones that were amaving were the Massive Running back and forth scenes that was interesting to know I never watched those moving that close together back to back that is or I am sure I would have noticed more.

Thanks for the Link.

CollaredLisa -> RE: Disney Animators Busted (4/10/2009 6:37:50 AM)

wow... I wouldn't even have noticed that... but then again it has been a while since I watched one of those movies lol.

SteelofUtah -> RE: Disney Animators Busted (4/10/2009 7:34:24 AM)

those were awsome! thank you for sharing! i always thought that that fox lady and snow white looked the same! lol! and anyone who didn't notice the dancing scenes in the big ball room wasn't paying much attention, sorry but i knew that and the last time i saw any of those movies was like 10 or 12 years ago. but i never thought that they would reuse the animation. oh well, probably saved them some money, like they need it!

windchymes -> RE: Disney Animators Busted (4/10/2009 11:52:47 AM)

I would have done the same thing....

Furf -> RE: Disney Animators Busted (4/10/2009 2:25:03 PM)

actually they are not useing the same animation .. they are using the same boards .  all the animation still had to be hand drawn in those days .. but the board overlays could be reused  for basic character movements ..  reusing  old storyboard cards saved alot of production time in getting the movies out

Thank you for that insight, I was wondering how that worked

rivenmoon -> RE: Disney Animators Busted (4/14/2009 3:19:08 AM)

originality when limited with finite resources can by mathematical equation prove the point that
we are often bound to repeat ourselves.

This explains why we sometimes hear riffs, rhythms etc of music which sound similar or familiar.
Maybe someone knows of this mathematical formula?
Which can be applied to find the exact number of times that different patterns (originality) can exist before the patterns start to incorporate repetition.

rivenmoon -> RE: Disney Animators Busted (4/14/2009 3:24:30 AM)

me thinkest : this may also explain why vanilla can be boring ???

MrFester -> RE: Disney Animators Busted (4/14/2009 4:36:54 PM)

Well, as far as music goes, there are 12 note sin a chromatic scale, and a chord can be made of 2 or more notes.  Perhaps that could help someone with some mathematical ability figure out said equation.  Vanilla is not boring...all the time.
