My kinks are very much a part of my being. I wouldn't be a submissive if I didn't have some type of submissive kink that brought me to that understanding. It's not about wanting to be a cleaning slave because I like to clean. Hell, I could clean my apartment all day long and get zero pleasure out of it. It's not about being on my knees before a woman I care for because I like being on my knees. Being on my knees hurts after awhile, and the action gives me little actual pleasure. Being tied up can be done (with some work) all by myself, but I don't get all excited about it. Being tied up BY a woman I care about, well, that does things that I can't even begin to describe.
I'm a service submissive, which means that I tend to do a lot for the person to whom I serve. At the same time, I like helping people out, and I do it all of the time. I help you women, men, kids, adults, grandparents, little old ladies, cops, etc. I do that because I like to think of myself as a nice person. I do things for a dominant partner (when I have one) because she's specifically special to me, and it brings me great pleasure to do so, so much that I'd do anything for her whereas I'd help out a stranger (to a certain extent). In other words, I'd sacrifice to help out the one I love, but that only goes so far when it comes to helping out someone else.
There is meaning in the kinks that we all have. Not all kinks are the same, but at the same time I don't think any of us would be here if we didn't have some level of kinkability in the first place.
