I don't hate anybody, mike. I think you're trying to project your own types of behaviors onto me, and possibly onto some others hereabouts.

I can have political disagreements without being filled with hate and rage, as is typical of the left towards the Bush team, as we still see today in the dozens of threads that are still generated in order to vent that vitriol and hatred...

Which incidentally, never seem to get moved anywhere.

Admittedly, I do hate Bush, with a passion that is almost unnatural.  Which is precisely why I try to stay out of the political threads.  I do have the facts and figures and all that to back myself up, but don't trust myself, even then, to not turn it into something personal. ;)  But giving someone shit for pizza?  That's just grasping for straws. LOL

Happy easter everyone!  Hopefully Obama had some ham on his pie at least.

Not offended at all,responsible posters with serious threads can get along quite well in these parts....those with silly little threads wind up here,those with loads of venom....fall by the wayside....no matter their leaning.

If president Bush would have done this. All of you would be on here complaining about Bush wasting tax money. Being hypocritical seems to be a very common characteristic of many Americans (that would imply both liberals and conservatives). In addition, most of you arn't looking at this issue through Sanity's perspective; Instead, you just sit there and babble on how Obama has every right to spend tax payer money on fruitless endeavors such as hosting a pizza party that has to have pizza from Louisiana. Your not looking at the cost of his pizza party in terms of money and resources. And, your clearly not listening to what Obama has been preaching over the past year on how Americans should be sacrificing and conserving for the greater good. In short, what I am trying to say is; you are willing to let Obama to get away with anything; however, if a republican is to spend tax payers money, exist, or speak you guys are right there to scream blasphemy. What ever Obama ordered wasn`t pizza either way anyway, so no biggie.

The only real pizza comes from the NY/NJ metro area.

Just for clarification....The Pizza Man flew in on his own dime and the pizzas were free to the party courtesy of the man who made them....so your money is safe Sanity....not a dime of your tax dollars spent for the party....and not even the White House staff was used in the making of the ever scandalous pizza!....rest easy my friend! The man has a very succesful restaraunt in St. Louis and appeared on a few of the morning shows late last week.
