ok, feeling a little self concious here, since ive posted twice now in as many days and it might be construed as me seeking attention..., and actually that is exactly what im doing to be honest, dammit! fellow subs and slaves, what the feck do you do with youreselves when youre in this damn awful mood when you know nothing else will get you out of it other than youre D. he's busy and happy with misst and thats cool, not going to mess with that. but damn it to hell, what do you do with this awful, irritating, itchy fucking feeling its driving me mad and doing my sodding head in. im in a really pissy mood, its god awful. edited to add one of my all time favourite emoticons, i dont often get a chance to use this little guy ....... [sm=gaah.gif]

Sorry you're not in a great mood, InTonguesslave. I would suggest you consider doing something fun that doesn't leave too much room for mulling things over. So maybe going to the gym or working out at home, cooking something elaborate, watching a scary movie , yakking to friends, etc. might be good things. Maybe a long bath with a book and a drink [:D]

Go outside, go for a walk and release some energy. The worst thing I can do is to sit at the computer or isolate myself. I hope you feel better soon.

i cooked a whole turkey today with all the trimmings, got pissed on sherry and champagne, had a long bath and i meditated - still pissy. ill go to bed i think and see if that works - thanks hopeful - actually, better yet, ill pack an over night bag, bring the rest of the red wine and all of the white - see ya in 5!

I've had those moods - torturous, aren't they? When they happen I try to focus on a beautiful memory. For me, it's often when I went swimming with manatees. It has nothing to do with the relationship but simply between me and nature. It often settles my mind from what I have named the "uglies"; ugly and self deprecating thoughts that seem to hold themselves back for long periods of time and then suddenly ambush me. I've also found that this tends to happen when I am very tired so getting enough sleep can be a big help.

Good evening darling! Gosh I get those so much, lol. And it is either hubby cannot see my frustration with something or does not care AND Daddy is busy at work or being sick (diabetes). I usually take a shovel and beat some snow in winter or like now, take a hammer to an old shed on my property that needs to be demo'ed anyways. Or kneeling int he dirt and using a small trowel to really turn over that patch. Then I slug some nyquil and sleeeeeeeeeppppppppp. Love, Zechriel [sm=runaway.gif]

Those times do suck big time. When I get that way, especially during the day, I go out with my camera and shoot pictures of nature. Nature always cheers me up, and I never know what will show up when I load my camera to the computer. I also exercise a lot when the stress is building up or peaked. This helps me as well to release my frustrations. Finally, I find scrubbing the floor and cleaning the best way for me to release tension as well as meditating.

Hi lally, Why don't you write everything you're feeling down in a letter to your D, letting all the anger and yucky mood out. Then you can either read it to him when you're together or throw it away but you'll have released all the bad mood. kazza

Go for a walk, indulge in a hobby, read, work around my money pit of a home, call my friends, go to a movie, shop, talk to Master, sleep, remind myself that "this too will pass" because ya know..it will.

i have been there so many times. It puts me in almost a rebelious stage and i know thats not where i want to be. i will probably get stoned for saying this but i temporarly remove Master from my thoughts. Never my heart just my thoughts. If i dont i am miserable and i dont like feeling that way. i cant enjoy spending time with my family or friends and i am not productive at work when i am in that mood. So i allow myself a few minutes twice a day to think about him, usually first thing when i get up in the morning and before i go to sleep at night. i wonder what he must be doing and if he is happy and if he thought about me that day, i say good night and fall to sleep. If i find that he enters into my thoughts during the day i purposely say there is a time and place and now is not it. i hope this helps. hallie :)

A Good tear jerker movie usually makes me cry it out. I don't want to all the time but damn it works almost every time.

I do something for me. That only I will benefit from. A walk in the park or the woods. A stroll through a favorite store. Like greeneyedreamer said, watching a tear jerker movie. A long hot bath with a glass of wine. Write an email to myself that is delayed to arrive several days later reminding me of all the fun things I've done for myself. Then I can share it with my Dom at a later date if I decide to.

Hi, Lally---- I'm sorry you're not in a good mood. When single, I feel like my existence is less purposeful, I function less optimally, etc. I think that correlates fairly well. I deal with it imperfectly. A lot of what I do is sublimate the thoughts and feelings that go along with it. When I have some spare moments to be self-indulgent, I may have a cry or take a nap. When I want to make myself focus more adeptly on the positives, I share time with other lloved ones, do things that are meaningful to me, give attention to/harass my pets, etc. Hang in there. :> Davan

i woke up this morning and thought 'oh god what did i do! - why did i write that - i darent look' [sm=afraid.gif]but you guys have been amazing. im going to go for a walk, its a beautiful day and go sit where Sir and i had a picnic last weekend and just try to get a grip. thanks guys, youre right, i need to find something positive to focus on and chill. swimming with manatees would definitely do it! i actually have improved. in the past id just fritz and get these awful rebellious feelings that hallie has mentioned. im still getting them, but not so much and im using the word 'stop' alot.. lol - ok - enough, thanks guys xx

Just be sure they dynamic in the relationship is REALLY what you want in your life and is really what you are being lead to believe---many times when we feel that way, its because our inner voice is telling us something we don't want to hear.

It didn't seem to give me any relief to know and feel that I was very secure in the relationship, I didn't like it when he was not available to me when I needed him. I left.
