Yup. The democrats lie and steal too... The difference is, when they're stealing from us, we get better roads, schools and relative peace in the world...

When the GOP lies and steals, we end up in two wars, an economy in flames, a drowned American city, civil liberties at the same free level as Stalin's Russia, and a supreme court set to fuck over every man woman and child in the US for decades to come.... Why don't they just fuck us in our cold, dead eyesockets, while they are at it?

owner, you seem to have a real thorn in your ass concerning conservatives. i'd apologize but i'm not that kind a person i guess and my tweezers aren't nearly big enough. i'm sure you're a nice guy and you're cute enough but i'm not sure where the vitriol you have comes from. i'm mid ground concerning the parties. i just want honesty and a government that's not trying to pull the wool over my eyes while they vacation in the hamptons or texas. i'm fed up and i'm tired with the blame game....somehwere the buck has to stop.

Not really,it`s bush and un-repentant neo-conservatives I have issues with.

You seem to be willing to give bush a pass,no matter how many Americans got killed,were sent to kill and die(for nothing in Iraq) or limbs lost.

i've never said i've given bush a pass... you are assuming that. god i make you sick? did you copy that from me? huh, too bad you can't be more creative dude. nothing personal, i just dont' see where the vitriol comes from...you are so against party lines. i think the majority of americans no matter what the affiliation, want to see our country thrive...i'd like to think that the country could unite enough to blur the lines of animosity. really, i'd like to see some kind of unification but some seem so focused on things that dont matter that unification seems almost impossible. tell me, is it possible to unite? tell me really, i know there are crazies on both sides of the board...you seem to be on one side and i'm on the other, where is the middle ground? please answer without bashing, there has to be some middle ground where minds can open on both sides and come to an agreement.

Haven`t heard you do much name calling Sanity.I would prefer that you didn`t lie on a regular basis though, over being civil.

My tread was to point out the latest line of b/s of the Grand Old Party and how BSing is the only tool in their box.A persuasive argument certainly isn`t in there.

If someone wants to make a thread about how dems BS,go ahead,it`s still a free country.If someone wants to start a thread about name calling,I`d love to point out how often an elected republican has called the President names.

To say that the dems and repubs serve different current political/social constituentcies would be correct but they both in all things that matter politically and more importantly...financially, serve the same master, the bankers. Dems and republicans are two sides of the same political and yes...financial coin.

I am convinced now that with the black face on this puppet we are being led down a path to destruction. Did you not see that he has the very people...masters of finance are actually in his govt. plus the lobbyists also, despite promises to clean them out of Wash. ?

He has willingly bailed out financial institutions while only cutting bonuses to NEW welfare state capitalists but has laid down the gauntlet to one auto co. while telling tall they'll have to lower labor's pay and bennies (while soon getting back to millions for management) to get what will be federal govt. debtor-in possesion financing for bankruptcy.

My new career path: Run up all of the debt I can in my co., take bonuses and a very nice salary and pocket all I can.

Then have the co. declare bankruptcy without going to bankruptcy court but run to the federal govt. (taxpayer) for debtor-in posession financing, fuck all of my employees, come out debt free and a whole lot richer than if I actually had to work for it. Afterall, if I am big enough to borrow, than I am big enough to get rich at others expense...true modern capitalism.

I maybe got off topic but as for this OP, lies are the currency of power. There is an endless supply and our partisanship is by design. This and other boards are actually a help but a distraction along with almost all of the garbage we get passed on as entertainment.

The problem is...we are buying it and it's working.

All right young lady as I get a little carried away sometimes and don't cover all of my bases...as it were. I still may not, there is way too much needed for detailed specifics but I think now I know why this is about power and more.

The dream if you will, means there is absolute bipartisanship in Wash., on the important issues of the bankers (with the exception of far too few) to serve the bankers as seen from a look at the big picture.

Due to all of the monetary/financial forces we are subject to, about 100 million American...at least are in fact getting poorer everyday. (income down since 2000) Our concern is future generations and the debt they'll have to pay requiring very possibly, 2 or 3 low paying jobs. A depression is very possible as I think it could be by design. This will be a form of slavery to debt. There will be more and less to pay it with.

This is about consolidating power in the financial world as they already control/marginalize or kill people they choose. There you have it very short Christine. It's not about right or left, liberal conservative or even capitalism/socialism. Those are now terms popularized to polarize and create partisanship among us...the people...the rest is wondow dressing.
