I think finding a dominant around here just became much harder.  A beautiful Asian domina doesn't want to be objectified and the other's might not like that you would rather have an Asian domina.

Call me a victim of stereotype, but when I think of an Asian girl, I see a submissive Japanese schoolgirl type. The culture has long supported female obedience, thats not to say Asia is stuck in the feudal period.

Personally, I'm indifferent to the Asian look. That is to say it's not bonus points, but certainly not a hinderance.

Mostcurious, is it that you're a hetero-male-submissive who prefers Asian women, and hence Asian dominants? Or is it something specifically about the Asian-Female-Dominant which attracts you?

I like all the races, but I can understand another man's preferences.  I once had an Asian Mistress for a couple of years who was fantastic.

I was married to an Asian, a Korean, total bastard, but anyway[;)], the thought of the asian female as some subbie like little geisha makes me laugh everytime. Those women are strong as steel, and do not underestimate a pissed off Korean mother-in-law. Asian women are like the rest of us, different temperments and personalities, but the ones I know, and they number plenty, do not like that typical caucasian male fantasy of some shuffling concubine.

If the Asian Domme is good then she's good and if she is beautiful then she is beautiful. I have female friends from a variety of racial backgrounds and can see the exquisite beauty in each one of them.

tis true though, oriental refers to food and furniture, Asian refers to people.
I have never heard them referred to though as common and typical. Did you mean the fantasy of it little wonder or are Asian dom/mes really common and typical where you live?

I think there may be some attraction to the idea of someone who is viewed as usually submissive or from being screwed over in the past, turning the tables so to speak.

Well, Dommes for me ... only if they like to be ravished.
Women of different races .. ladies, you all have beauty, some shared with all females, some by race and some that is individual.
That is what makes life so wonderful. It's not the color of your skin or hair, it's not the size of your breast, it's YOU.
All men have different things that hit their spark, much like woman do.
That is what is so wonderful about life.
Since I started shaving my head, I've found some ladies actually like that. Who knew?

Every man I have ever known has been attracted to Asian women..whether Domme or submissive.

Dom/mes love em for their subservient cultural background.

Subs like em because if you find an Asian Domme then they're going against their culture and the taboo of that is a turnon to a lot.

Subs like Asian maledoms because they're usually very dominant again due to their culture.

It just seems to be a common, typical fantasy from every man I've ever known.

Living in Silicon Valley, I learned this the first month I was here, as an Asian friend pulled me aside to explain the difference. Amazing what I didn't learn in school as I consider myself rather well educated ... yet I never knew the difference between Asian and Oriental 'till that experience. Luckily it was a good friend as I would have pissed off a lot more Asians had I not been told as I was blissfully unaware of the distinction.

Of course, if she's an Asian sub, and she's posing as furniture for me to put my coffee and legs on, then perhaps, just maybe, she could be considered Asian and Oriental at the very same time. :)
