We have used several different paddles,whips,cains,etc... but I have been unable to bruise,I mean not so much as a mark is left and it is not that Master doesn't punish harshly enough,as I am sore for days after. Are their any recommended toys specifically used for marking or bruising?

There was another thread just like this a couple of days ago... with lots of answers and recommendation, try searching for the topic, (not bruising) or something to that effect.... Alot of recommendations were biting...

I understand that you are talking about visible bruises, but understand that bruising is still taking place, even if it doesn't show. Someone with a medical background can (and inevitably will) give you more information about them, but basically a bruise is caused by broken blood vessels within the skin. Just don't do yourself real harm in an effort to get a mark that might not be showing because of skin tone or something.

I have never understood the need to get visible bruises..
buut if you want scars you can have some of mine I have tons... there're small...and relatively small........ round.. oblong...thunder scar like harry potter (honest just not on the forehead)....vertical..horizontal  all size and shapes you can also choose between accidental and surgical ones, white and red ones[8|]

Take an aspirin before play and you'll bruise a lot easier. Hot baths after play will also bring out marks. Thin whippy things leave more marks than something wider that spreads the impact out.

A golf shaft will do the trick. If he can't bruise or mark you with that, then I guess BRANDING would be one of your last resorts.

I understand the whole trophy aspect, but like another poster said, not all damage is visible and you could put yourself at soe serious risk trying to mark just for the fun of it. Biting, burning, and branding will leave marks... not necessarily bruises obviously, but something to admire in the inbetween times. Piercing too. I think I would want to focus more on enjoying the play and less on the final display. If you can enjoy the delicious pain all those days after, then isn't that a sweet reminder all its own?

How do I put this... umm... hrmmm..

Do you happen to be black..? Darker skin tones show tans and bruises less readily than fairer skins. Am I trying to sell you on a black and blue econosize model or "Sunfire" Red racing stripes?

I have always found that suction in various forms works well, By bringing the blood closer to the surface you have more chance of making it fan out ... try gripping and pinchingthe area that is being paddled throughout the course of the activity. you'll be surprised at how well the results come into focus. I have worked with subs that have supposedly had un markable skin and they have wound up with some pretty colours...

A fist may do the trick.

Alcohol thins the blood making bruising easier.  The only other recommendation I have is to decrease the surface area of the striking implement.  The smaller surface area that contacts your skin the more concentrated the force, the more likely to bruise.  Bruising occurs with the rupturing of capillaries in the skin, which are broken when sufficient contact occurs.  Inability to bruise seems like a medical problem to me.  What have you tried?
