You had to bring up lobster didn't ya Des. I ain't talking to the dude who took me to this restaurant, but they gave you ½ a lobster with the surf-n-turf but with a twist. Of course it screamed when dropped into the water but subsequently they broiled in in a very hot grill. This only dehydrated it a bit, but it made the lobster meat fall out of the shell. It also seems to have enhanced the flavor. I am not all that fond of the fishy taste, but in moderation, with butter and just once in a whule I like it. I just can't remember the name of the place ! Dammit., Teazer maybe you can help out here, the place is down off Brookpark or something like that. The lobster is boiled, but then they run it though a hot grill, and I have decided that I like that. Instead of poking arouind with a fork you get a chunk of lobster meat on the plate. It was good. As far as people bitching about clam chowder, I found this to be quite good. No gooeyness or anything, nice relatively thick broth, bunch of stuff in it. Maybe I just got lucky to find a place that makes it good, so maybe others will have to try to find it in other places than before. I enjoyed my chowder. This particular specimen is from Expressway Diner on Memphis Ave. They also have some other strong points, and I just started dealing with them. I am in the process of exploring their menu to see what is good and what is not so good. Dam U hijackers, now you got me doing it ! T
