And Stella, you CAN get sick from eating your own poo. Just because it came out of your rear, does not mean it goes back into your face.

Exactly, that's what I was pointing out with all that about enzymes. That's what kills you.

Stella, enzymes don't kill you and beeble has already tried to explain that. Enzymes are necessary and present in abundance everywhere. They are natural substances and not harmful. The fact is we often don't have enough enzymes to create the good building blocks of life.

Well, many enzymes are highly toxic and the active ingredient of many animal venoms is a mix of enzymes.  However, unless you've been taking venom enemas (venemas?), none of those particular enzymes are going to be in your shit.

beeble.

Yes but the enzymes in our systems are, as you say beeble, harmless. Taking enzymes from someone else (far more likely in pee) is not going to do us any harm. At the end of the day they are biodegradable.

Lynnxz -> RE: Full toilet training (4/15/2009 5:14:28 AM)

It's the bacteria in poo that'll mess you up- E. Coli, Streptococci, Coliphages, Giardia...

There's also a bug that residents in nursing homes are particuarly prone to, but I forget it at the moment.

C Difficile sounds familiar. MRSA isn't poo related is it?

FR

My understanding is that the big health maintenance issue for a toilet slave is dentistry . . . . .

The human digestive system can handle a lot with its powerful enzymes & acids & so forth, but the dental system is a vulnerable place for invading pathogens . . . .. . As anyone who's ever spat blood after brushing their teeth can see, there can be openings in the mouth beyond the obvious ones . . .. . .

subtlebutterfly -> RE: Full toilet training (4/15/2009 1:42:46 PM)

doesn't it eat up the teeth's enamel too?

DemonKia -> RE: Full toilet training (4/15/2009 1:46:27 PM)

Enamel erosion is more of a problem of excess sugar intake, or obsessive sucking on lemons (some people do that) . . . . . .

With the full toilet thing, infection in the gums is probably the bigger, more immediate concern . .. . . .

Oh, & I'm not a medical of dental provider of any kind & this is not medical or dental advice . . ..

subtlebutterfly -> RE: Full toilet training (4/15/2009 1:51:45 PM)

*the alcoholic in me starts thinking of lemon..salt..n tequila..but nothing obsessively much..*

damn and I was thinking of hiring you as my dentist[:D]

allthatjaz -> RE: Full toilet training (4/15/2009 2:35:51 PM)

it could be it lives on the perineum on close to anyone whose worked in or has spent much time in a hospital, only harmful if it gets into the bloodstream of someone with a weakened immune system.

oh and the idea that "enzymes" as a catch all term are harmful is absurd!

ShaharThorne -> RE: Full toilet training (4/17/2009 8:44:10 PM)

I am not into that type of humiliation at all. Piss yes, scat no. I got a sub who wishes for me to give him enemas if we meet up, but so far, I am keeping him at a distance until I feel that he gets the messenge that I am to be the Domme in the relationship like he has expressed to me in out first cmail.

Now, give me a paddle, flogger, riding crop and I will punish him to his hearts content.

Shahar

Of course, how you play is your decision but I wouldn't put enemas in the same class as you shitting on him.  Unless there's an accident, he can go expel it behind a locked door with you safely in another room. [;)]

Politesub53 -> RE: Full toilet training (4/18/2009 1:41:06 AM)

Hmmm... I was expecting a thread about guys learning to put the seat down.

[:)]

PeonForHer -> RE: Full toilet training (4/18/2009 2:46:45 AM)

We need a thread about women learning to leave the seat up.

manxcat -> RE: Full toilet training (4/18/2009 10:21:30 AM)

Peon, there is nothing worse that getting up in the middle of the night and sitting on a toilet and slipping into the water.

[sm=crop.gif]

ok now to read the op

So you're capable of feeling your way to the bathroom in the dark but not of checking that the seat is down?

beeble.
