Status: offline 		One part of that book, as discribed in the review... cannot be mentioned because of tos... but I found it disgusting and would never read it.  Why would I want to read a book with that in it?  I wouldn't support the writer who glorifies it, on any terms.  Someone came up to me and wanted to talk about that desire... well... both of us might get carried away...

Status: offline 		I knew I had heard about this.  I was driving home, listening to NPR, and was able to catch this interview http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=100543750

Yes, there were some things mentioned that aren't my cup of tea but I was pleased to hear it discussed on a fairly "vanilla" radio station like NPR.  In all honesty, I'd be curious enough to spend a bit of time doing a quick-read if I'm able to find a copy in the local bookstore.

BTW....I've never understood foot fetishes.  I have so many problems with my feet (most recent being another round of surgery) that I find little attractive...at least to me.

The character of dislike is Roy and I only contend that it (and just about anything really) becomes unhealthy, immoral and unethical, and illegal when one cannot distinguish between their fantasy driven desires and acting on those desires in reality. If Roy and individuals like him were to never act on their desires the only way we would know they have them is if they said something. It's like coming out about being gay...if someone is still acting as a "normal" heterosexual individual and never acts on their homosexual desires the only way we would know about it is if they told us. That being said, I think Roy and his friends should be kept away from situations that tempt the unspeakable.

On the other hand, I love feet. I love feet because of what they symbolize on a Woman and that Women like to dress them up in their own little bondage. I love MsKitty's feet...love love love love love...and am pretty much stumped in any way to describe it other than that.

I came here because I have a moderate foot fetish myself (a strong appreciation for female feet may be a more accurate description). This appreciation originated from two years of part-time work in a woman's shoe store, which occurred during my teen years. Some very interesting experiences happened there!

However, it seems that the book being reviewed is a study of various sexual attractions/behaviors which are considered deviant from the norm, by most observers.  

Tsk tsk... this looks like a case of bait-and-switch false advertising to me...

Status: offline 		I also have a very conflicted issue with my foot. Indeed, the one foot can barely be touched or massaged sometimes due to issues it is having. (I need another foot surgery) And the earlier surgeries left me unable to wear "sexy" shoes. No heels for me! So I work on just not being angry at them because really, they are very good feet in many ways, and I like the way they look in many respects. (The muscle cramp up my arch, however, can go away any damn time it feels like it.)

Status: offline 		AlexandraLynch....You don't to wear high heels to be sexy.  There are lots of flats, sandals, etc that look just as sexy and I like those kinds of shoes even better!  So don't despair...I am sure your feet will look great!

Of course, I got my riding boots out to polish them yesterday(don't have a boy to do that, so it's still my job) and when I turned back around the two younger cats had hopped in the box, rolled up together, and were going to sleep. (shakes head, laughing) Cats.
