Status: offline 		I've had stuff like this several times. Two weeks with the flu, the one year I missed getting the shot and followed it up with a root canal that got infected. A month from hell basically.

Less overwhelming was the cataract surgery. Honestly all I had to do was put a drop in every two hours. You would have thought I was nearly dead. He shoved me into bed and wouldn't let me get up. He came in every two hours and put the drops in for me. Although that was a pain since the eye was dilated for 24 hours so I couldn't read, and I don't have tv.

Last night ... me and other sub did a jigsaw puzzle (we've lost the box so lord only knows what it's of) while Sir and Sir played backgammon, Ma'am played a computer game. There was a brief shocking interlude when Sir offered around some nuts .... Then we watched telly with Sir and Ma'am snoozing gently on the sofa, other Sir cathing up online and me and other sub were affectionately nommed by the german shepherd as we tried to brush him.

Its a rock and role lifestyle to be sure ... 24/7 Ds ... but not as most fantasise it!

My poor M..I get on the ANTM kick on the weekends for obsessed.  Every time he turns around there is another episode on..now I even have his lil munchkin watching with me when she is here

It's groovy here as we have Britains NTM coming this monday... so I get 2hrs worth!  (although Mr Barkers not in BNTM).

Status: offline 		Master does this to me, I had the flu last november and I don't do sick well. He actually ended up threatening to tie me to the bed if I didn't stay in it. Kind of hard to do long distance but it made me pay attention. A few months ago he was sick and we were talking on the phone and I coughed and the first thing he says, "I want you to take care of that cough" all I could do was say, "yes Master" and wonder at how him being sick, half asleep and he still tells me what to do but I liked it.

I live alone ATM so for me it's just me, no pets ect unless Master happens to be online. I like being alone most of the time, I get to play the music I want or watch the movie I want.

Status: offline 		awww....i love the way He takes care of me when im feeling ill...or have my period...He babies me and totally goes overboard to the point i am not allowed to do anything either...feels so good sometimes!  thank goodness i dont get sick often or my period but once a month! it would drive me nuts if it was a constant thing!!! lol

I do alone very well and much prefer it. 
As it is with my Sir. 
 
For me, it is the isolating as a teenager that started it.
I prefer my own company (well 4 animals included).
Generally there is no loneliness in my aloneness; but occasionally I am plagued with it.
 
The thought of moving in with my mom (because her house is set up for handicap, which she is) is a scary piece of shit.  I am not sure how I will handle it.
 
I would love to live with my Sir, but the house would need to be rather large so we have several rooms each to find ourselves in, for our need of alone time.
 
I surely hope that you find it is not as bad as it might seem and loneliness does not eat away from the inside; but that you find it a marvelous time to find yourself, as your own partner.  
 
Renewing the friendship and love of self is refreshing and an interesting journey.  So Enjoy !!

Status: offline 		Make peace with the house, D, listen to it breathe in the absence of every day hue and cry , find your rhythm and do what you do best. Capture it. Pink bunny fluff-fluffs are essential. 

At my house in London, whenever my son/ex hubby were away there would be no lights, no tv, curtains open at night and I'd sometimes lay on the stairs listening to nothing in particular, to everything the night brings from the Common and occasionally I'd hear a rat-ta-tap-tap at the bottom of the lounge window. I'd creep on my hands and knees to the window, and flatten myself out, elbows on the floor, face resting in my hands, and the little mouse would sometimes stand against the glass looking at me. I'd lose track of time just listening and watching.

Status: offline 		lemon and honey neat is disgusting! - add some cloves (NOT garlic cloves (damn that sounds revoulting)!!! and a goodly dash of brandy/rum/whisky (dilute with boiled water) - after a couple of those you really wont give a shit and youll sleep like the dead.

hope you feel better soon.  (cant find one handing out grapes, or chocs sorry))

Status: offline 		Definitely Brandy, Lally. That's what the on-duty doctor told me on Christmas day after my mother was taken into hospital - "when you take her home, dose yourself up with Brandy." I'm usually teetotal, but I did take her advice that night, and the next...
