.. so may question how to find this type of Dom (or sub for that matter).
Simple advice I received that works in scene and out. Stop searching high and low! Get out and do things you enjoy in the company of those who enjoy it too. Enjoy those you are with and have fun. Be open to some of the people you are with developing into acquaintances. Some will develop into friendships, and you may trip over the person you hope to find. It takes time.
Then even if you don't find that special someone, you were having fun.
