This weekend I went to a munch/demo/scene on "Takedown and Aggressive Play" When I got the email invite off the list serv, I knew that they were talking rape fantasies. WOOHOO, one of my favorite things. I marked my calendar. It As it turned out, the willing victim was going to be an acquaintance of mine. Who would want to miss that? It turned out so damn good, I thought I would share with you all as well.
This was a private event in a home, with consenting adults. So there.
It began with chili. I brought shredded cheese and my friend brought chocolate chip cookies. It was sort of like a church potluck, but with people dressed in slutty black clothing and lots of leather. Then the thirty or so people introduced themselves around the circle. Again, a little like many youth group functions in my past. Instead of sharing a favorite food, we shared how long we had been "in the lifestyle" or a favorite pervertabile. (A pervertabile is an everyday item that can be used in kinky play.)
Then we headed downstairs to a very artfully decorated dungeon. In a small room off the main room there was a bed, a medical table, and a kneeling bench. But this was not the presentation area. In the main room walls were draped alternatively in red and black fabric with hanging items like swords, knives, erotic photographs, etc. Lighting was dim, with a reddish glow. In one corner there was a St. Andrew's cross with leather straps. Next to it a plank was suspended from the ceiling on heavy chains. Chairs circled the room but I naturally headed for the couch against one wall.
A one hour presentation followed, sort of a facilitated discussion regarding the stigma of rape fantasies, the core differences between the sexual act of censensual play rape and the violent act of real rape, and ways to facilitate the negotiation of a scene. Emphasis was placed on being risk aware and ways to communicate so both parners got what they hoped from the scene. Elements of a scene were divided up, and strategies shared to find limits and desires within those areas. Restraint, impact, torture, sexual abuse, defilement, verbal abuse. The discussion was facilitated by a dominant couple, her being a professional.
As he was discussing scene music, the dominatrix suddenly grabbed my friend from the audience and drug her screaming into the middle area. The demonstration scene had begun.
Now, I knew this was coming. I knew my friend had rehearsed with the two facilitators. I knew she was a dirty whore and a pain slut. But I was unprepared for what came next. It lasted about 45 minutes and due to the size of the room, everyone was right there. They struggled, kicked her, slapped her, punched her body. They pinned her, gagged her, cut her clothes off. Dildo penetration, forced intercourse, face fucking, anal. They restrained her in a chair and the woman held her legs while the man forcefully fisted her. They wrote on her with lipstick and spray painted "whore" across her chest. He pissed on her and bit her. They held scissors to her nipples and made her beg not to cut them off. And finally they drug her into the bathroom and shoved her head in the toilet.
But for me, what was disturbing was the verbal humiliation -- possibly because I was unprepared for it. I get into the dirty talk. I do the "oh you nasty little slut, you like that don't you, you f-ing bitch?" type thing. Bring it on. But this dominatrix took it to a new level. I was simultaneously impressed and terrified. Particularly since I had been discussing her kitchen curtains with her an hour earlier.
Now you might think my wide eyes and raised eyebrows might have discouraged me for staying for the play party. But I am no quitter. In fact, shock is an aphrodisiac. That is another post though.
As for my friend, she is bruised and sore today, and having some sub drop. But she told me it was "f'ing awesome."
After some time to process, I have to say the entire evening was really really good. The space itself created a specialized atmosphere. It was a cozy but diverse group - young and old, different levels of experience, doms and dominas, submissives and switches, transgendered and bisexual. There was lively and intelligent discussion. The scene itself incorporated many of the components from the prior lecture/discussion. It was full on and potentially horrifying to some, but also not gratuitious - each element had a purpose. It was also pretty damn hot.
