It was the whole scene: ordinary, dumpy woman musters her courage to perform, is greeted with (literally) eye-rolling skepticism, then blows the judges away. Good voice but musically suited to the WW2 era, either that or the theme tune to ‘James Bond 18: Tomorrow is yesterday but only today.’ Isn't it just as bad to put someone on a pedestal because they aren’t physically attractive as it is to put one on a pedestal because they are?
