Okay, we know how frustrating it can be to have a tip of the tongue phenomenon. Unfortunately, even though I consider myself a movie guru, and a movie expert, I don't really know everything. Like, the name of movies I have watched, etc....

So I remember this really good movie I watched on TV that was about two brother, clowns, who were battling it out over this girl/woman/wife....

Very good, and interesting, with an interesting ending....

So, what is the name of this movie. Someone guessed it had Dennis Quad in it, and they mentioned the wrong movie. If it doesn't have Dennis Quad in it, its a very similiar good actor to Quad.....the other acters are less famous........

okay, it also involved fire, with these two clowns having mental powers and having an issue with controlling it......

Luckily, they were closely involved with the Fire department. Also, the collar to be stuck to their House was prominent in the movie.....House Arrest.......

In the end, they didn't end up killing each other. I vaguely remember another similiar movie that I wasn't happy with the ending, maybe because they didn't kill each other, and I had already seen it when younger. I was kind of happy this time they didn't kill each other......

The woman actress also had a Collar on her ankle at the end of the movie....

Oh, and I remember one scene where the older brother who was bald because of the younger brother was driving in circles for hours and hours, was kind of amusing, because he thought his younger brother had slept with his *girl*, the girl with the collar...blamed for the fire escapades...etc......

At the end of the movie, it was kind of obvious that the cat was out of the bag, it was obvious they had powers, sort of.....

It was pretty comedy-ic, expect you could kind of tell these brothers getting pretty pissed at each other....

Wilder Napalm. (I looked it up on Google with the search phrase "brother clowns firefighters movie".) This one did star Dennis Quaid along with Debra Winger and Arliss Howard.

Argh I can't bring to mind the name of a favorite band and it is driving me slightly nuts (or nutsier if you will).
They opened for Phish in a concert approximately 1999 tho I could be way off with the year.
They use a ton of different instruments, rotating them in and out.

Sigh. I hate brain farts.

To be considered a 'guru' or even a mere 'expert' one would think remembering what movies are called should be a minimum requirement.
